Disappointing and unwelcoming experience.
As an Australian visiting with my Dutch partner, we were looking forward to enjoying a small treat together—just a shared dessert, as we weren’t particularly hungry. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the owner's unaccommodating and unnecessarily rude attitude.
We were told that unless we each ordered a full dish, we would not be served at all. This was especially surprising given that the restaurant was neither busy nor short on space. We simply wanted to share a sweet moment together over a dessert, as many couples do.
Having read other reviews mentioning that foreigners sometimes feel unwelcome here, it’s disheartening to say that our experience seemed to reflect that sentiment. I would not recommend this establishment based on the poor service and unwelcoming attitude...

Definitely recommend you to try to make a reservation beforehand as they are usually booked out, so it's definitely worth it to try to brush up on some French and make that phone call!
Note: there are other reviews complaining about the owners attitude towards non French speaking people, but I'm really not sure what that's about. Been here multiple times and it has never happened to us. They turned away French people equally as much as English speaking people. I think it's probably primarily due to misunderstanding of just not speaking the language. The menus are available in English and French, and the friendly servers are happy to answer any questions. The crepes are very well priced, and we each had 2 (one savoury and one for dessert).
The scallop crepe/galette was the perfectly rich and salty - the sauce was decadent and paired well with fresh mushrooms and three generously sized scallops.
