ADMA — Restaurant in Fontainebleau

The food has suffered a serious downgrade since I last visited. The panisse came out stale and just barely edible. It had the same texture as reheated fries. Entrecôte was cooked poorly with juices leaking out and the potatoes are pretty tasteless. Had to constantly add salt due to how flavorless it was. What a shame how much this restaurant has degraded. I can only say they were at least customer service-oriented and seemed to take our concerns seriously.

Dined here for the first time recently and had a very lovely meal. This is a very busy restaurant so it is best to make a reservation. My family and I had to wait a while to get a table for a late lunch.

We started off with some entrées and I ordered the panisse which was very well-made with a light, crispy exterior and a dense, flavorful interior. I also got to try the velouté of the day which was a delicious creamy pea soup. Both were excellent choices. I later ordered the entrecôte with potatoes and the entrecôte was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also great but as it was near closing time for lunch, many of the ones I got weren't the best quality. When I brought this up, I was able to get this replaced with some freshly-cooked vegetables which were also good.

The servers here are very helpful and quick to respond to any issues. The restaurant does get very busy though but they work very hard.

Clearly one of the most pleasant places in Fontainebleau. Excellent service is a clear highlight - with a mutual benefit here. The service is quick and thorough - dishes come out fast and the staff asks frequently whether everything is good or you need anything else. At the end we were asked whether we need anything else - drinks, coffee, desserts, digestiv - good upsell strategy + I'm happy as a customer to be offered these things at the end.

Dishes also very decent, vegetables not too oily and with their natural tastes preserved. Salad with a mix of tastes that makes eating it easy and interesting throughout.

After visiting Château de Fontainebleau, hoping to enjoy a pleasant lunch break. Unfortunately, the service was rather disappointing – it felt as though we weren’t welcome, simply because we hadn’t made a reservation.
