Wonderful Service, Good Food but Skip the Scallops!!

The service here was the absolute highlight of our visit! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Given there are only 2 gentlemen serving 9 to 10 tables with mixed duties of taking orders, serving, bartending, table and crowd management!

We weren't feeling up for large portions, and they were kind enough to split the fish soup and seafood pasta for us, which we really appreciated. This level of service is hard to find...

The food was solid and enjoyable overall. The oysters were fresh, the fish soup was rich and flavourful, and the seafood pasta with mussels and clams was a satisfying main course.

The only real disappointment was the scallops. We paid €14 for six scallops that were incredibly small, almost micro-sized. While they tasted fine, the value for money simply wasn't there for that particular dish.

I would still recommend this restaurant for its wonderful atmosphere and excellent staff, but I would advise you to order something other than...

We had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant, especially with the service and the quality of the food.

We called ahead to inform them that one person in our group was vegan. They prepared a dish that normally includes burrata and grilled vegetables, but simply left out the burrata and still charged us the full price (€26) for just vegetables.

The service was also slow and unwelcoming. We waited over an hour for a bottle of water and spent two hours waiting for our food. When it finally arrived, the food was cold, overly salty, and overall unsatisfactory. Despite ordering a variety of dishes, none of them met our expectations.

Lastly, when it came time to pay, they told us the card machine was “broken,” so we had to withdraw cash to cover...

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing dinner here. The place was packed which seemed to make the service extremely slow. We waited outside for 5 minutes before the host even greeted us. We were sat outside in a shaky table. When we asked to move, our host simply answered ‘no’ without paying us any attention, and it wasn’t until we asked to cancel our meal and leave that she allowed us to move to another table. The food and wine took a LONG time to arrive and when they finally did - the wine wasn’t cold (nor did it come with an ice bucket) and the food was lukewarm and mediocre.
