We have made a reservation for 8 people and were excited to try the food here. We were seated and given the menus but for more than 30 minutes nobody came to check on us - not even to bring us water for the table (hot weather nonetheless). The restaurant was not even half full at the time. When we finally decided to leave the place and go someplace else we talked to the guy at the counter to let him know we were not staying because of the bad service and the guy said that if we want we can wait 5-10 minutes more and he can take our drinks order. Not “Sorry about the situation, let me take care of your order now”, not “We apologise for this situation, we had an issue with the staff” or anything like that- an attitude more like “That’s the best we can do, take it or leave it”. If you come by metro, the Bellecour station is very close too. And if you come by car there’s parking at Place de Celestins. I really liked this place and I think it’s good value for money. Food and wine were great and the decoration of the place is well thought at every detail. We ordered the menu with starter, dish and dessert at 28€. Read moreAlors, aujourd'hui, j'ai vécu une expérience culinaire qui restera dans les annales… mais pas pour les bonnes raisons ! Commençons par le turbo, si on peut appeler ça comme ça : il était tellement trop cuit qu'on aurait dit qu'il avait fait un tour dans une machine à laver avant d'arriver dans mon assiette. Les légumes, eux, semblaient avoir traversé une guerre, tellement ils étaient rances et mal cuits ( d'il y a longtemps sans doute). Et pour couronner le tout, pas la moindre petite gourmandise avec l'apéritif ( obligé de demander une corbeille de pain pour mon épouse...oubliée donc relance de ma part). Quant au service.... on aurait dit le celui ci était en mode fantôme, le plat arrive sur une planche et c'est au client de se servir, même pas de service à l'assiette. Bref, une expérience à oublier… meme si pour 2 personnes c'est 100€ tout de même cette...
