Café des Phocéens — Restaurant in Nice

I’ve never experienced such an awful time in a restaurant. The food was just okay—not terrible, but nothing memorable. What completely ruined the experience was the attitude of the staff. It honestly felt like they were doing us a favor just by letting us sit there. No warmth, no professionalism—just cold, dismissive service from the moment we walked in.

And heaven forbid you ask for something basic, like the WiFi password or directions to the restroom. You’re met with eye rolls or completely ignored. It’s like you’re inconveniencing them by being there. Absolutely baffling behavior from a place in a tourist-heavy city.
