Aasman restaurant — Restaurant in Paris

The food was quite good and the other reviews are accurate in regards to this. However, with regards to customer service this has to have been one of the worst experiences of my life!

I've found that most people don't mind when you're a tourist and not great at speaking their language and in fact they usually smile and offer to teach a little. This time when I, in garbled french, asked if it would be ok to order in English the man said in English that it was ok. He then basically snapped and started slamming doors and throwing objects around the room and refusing to speak or make eye contact. When it came to paying the bill and we needed a pen to sign with, he slammed it on the table and stormed off without a word.

So surprised by the amazing service and kindness of the staff at this restaurant. We came, myself, husband and my 5 year old daughter and the waiter immediately said he has a dish ready for the little kid. :) The food was plentiful and filling. The place looks nice and the food was really good. But sadly the waitor and especially the manager seem to be in a hurry to earn more money. They served starters and main dish together, rushed to the desert and gave us the bill pushing us to leave. They only seem to care about quick revenue and not about giving you a nice experience.
