I have mixed feelings about this place Pros: Most of the food is really good, I’m Mexican and this is one of my favorite taco spots in Paris. They also have the best hibiscus water I’ve tried outside of Mexico. Most of the waitresses are extremely nice and always greet you with a smile.
Cons: The male manager/waiter is really mean to the waitresses. I walked in and a waitress immediately proceeded to greet me and asked how many people we were. In the middle of our conversation the manager cut her off in a really rude way and restarted the conversation again with me. It’s hard for me to support a business where I know the manager treats the employees badly. The male manager/waiter even took a rude tone with me. I explained that we had a party of four or maybe three (because we weren’t sure if the 4th person was coming) he told me to just “tell him the truth”. I find this is an unacceptable phrase to tell a customer especially when they’re being completely honest about their party number. I could’ve easily only mentioned that we were 4 regardless but I decided to be especially truthful and say that our 4th person was yet to confirm so we could end up just being 3. I really didn’t understand the rudeness and the illogical remark. It’s no surprise why almost every bad review this place has mentions the male employee that did not know how to provide correct service. The people responsible for clearing out the tables put their fingers inside the water jugs (that usually don’t get cleaned) and that really...

While wandering through the charming Canal St Martin on a sweltering afternoon, we stumbled upon ACA, a cozy corner spot that instantly caught our eye. In need of a refreshing break, we decided to sit down for drinks, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was delightful. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and welcoming.
As we browsed the menu, we realized ACA was a Mexican restaurant, and to our delight, they offered a selection of agua frescas: Hibiscus 🌺, Tamarind 🌿, and Horchata 🥛.
Naturally, we ordered all three to taste. Each one was delicious, cool, flavorful, and exactly what we needed to quench our thirst.
Though we weren’t planning to eat, the menu was too tempting to ignore. The kids were especially drawn to the tacos, so we ordered a small feast:
1.🌮 Taco Barbacoa 2.🌮 Taco Al Pastor 3.🌮 Tinga de Pollo 4.🍗 Pollo Asado 🥑 Naco ACA (vegetarian)
Every dish was fresh and packed with flavor. The kids liked it so much they wanter to order more, which, as any parent knows, is the ultimate compliment. I had to hold them back since we had a dinner reservation later, but honestly, if we hadn’t, we would’ve happily stayed for round two, three, four.......... 🤗
Great service, refreshing drinks, and food that even picky eaters can’t resist. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth a stop whether you're after a quick drink or a full-on taco tasting session. And the interior is...
Read moreThe guacamole is freshly done, copious, with 3rd grade tortilla chips. That’s what the one-star is for.
The prices are very cheap. But unfortunately, 2 out of 3 dishes were inedible.
Chicken tacos: chicken is very old, stringy and chewy. The sauce and all other ingredients also tasted strange. The next day, I had a mild diarrhea.
Poulpo tacos: foul-smell. I tasted one piece and I wish I didn’t. Returned the whole plate. The owner insisted that the poulpo arrival was Friday (I.e. same day). Well, I m sure it was from the last Friday.
The service is quick, the personnel are all south-American, the plates, dishes and all decoration is typical South American, which invites to what you’d think an authentic tacos experience. That’s also what the one-star is for.
Wanna enjoy the experience, stick to guacamole and beer.
Revision note to owner’s response: thank you for your ample response. As an avid eater of poulpo, I do have an idea of what not-so-old poulpo should taste, smell, and chew. As for my stomach troubles, knowing what I ate through the day and other details that I am happy to share offline, I am quite positive that it was due to the chicken in the tacos. It is a very friendly remark that I’d like you to take into consideration because I liked the authenticity of your place (look and feel) as well as the guacamole, hence it’d be great for your and your customers, if the other dishes...
