Annette — Restaurant in Paris

I usually hesitate to eat at hotel restaurants HOWEVER Annette is an extraordinary restaurant where I had one of the most delicious meals while in Paris. In hindsight I wish we had eaten there more than once and when I return to Paris (and stay, again, at the lovely Le Grand Hotel Cayre) I will ensure to do that. The dining room is beautifully appointed, elegant yet not stuffy. The service was attentive, friendly, professional, intuitive. I started with the asparagus which was cooked perfectly with the most delicious sauce. My main course was the rib eye. Excellent! My friend started with the Burgundy snails and then had the scallops. She loved every bite! I applaud the Chef and his team. I cannot recommend this...

Dîner agréable dans un joli cadre. Service chaleureux, même s'il était assez désorganisé : les plats qui sont arrivés avant l'entrée (puis laissés au chaud le temps qu'on profite de l'entrée...pas idéal), les serveurs qui essaient d'enlever l'assiette alors que je n'avais pas du tout fini (plusieurs fois par des serveurs différents), facturation d'un accompagnement supplémentaire alors qu'il s'agissait d'une substitution....les serveurs étaient tous très jeunes et visiblement pas bien entrainés/encadrés !

Nous avons partagé les oeufs mimosa en entrée - savoureux, joliment présentés. Pour le prix, ils auraient pu mêttre 2 oeufs entiers quand même au lieu d'un et demi, mais bon. Ma copine a pris la truite et l'a trouvé très bonne, mais niveau quantité un peu limite. Moi la suprème de volaille - plutôt tendre, dans une petite sauce gouteux avec des champignons et des lardons. Juste la peau étaient toute molle, pas crispée. Mon verre de Côtes de Rhone très qualitatif aussi, mais un peu radin niveau quantité. Petite mention pour le pain qui était délicieux.

Enfin, je ne me déplacerais pas pour y retourner, mais je retenterais si j'étais dans le coin, en espérant que...
