Les Ambassades — Restaurant in Paris

The bride and I wandered over to look at the menu after a lovely meal at Flores last night. The waiter said to be sure to come tomorrow, so we thought we would check it out tonight. She ordered lamb chops and i, the roast chicken, to compare with Flores.

When two orders of lamb chops arrived, i demurred as I detest the taste of lamb. He didn’t want to take it back although he acknowledged it was his mistake. I said I wasn’t going to eat it and he said he’d get me a chicken dish. I told my wife to go ahead so her food wouldn’t get cold.

By and by the chicken arrived and I had some difficulty cutting into it. The reason was it was not cooked through. As the attached photo shows, the interior was raw. He never came to ask how it was, so I just ate the salad and fries and waited and waited.

He finally came over and asked if we were done. I told him you’re going to kill someone serving raw chicken. He agreed it was not cooked through and comped my wife’s glass of wine! Unbelievable. He then told us earnestly to come back tomorrow and see him. Not bloody likely.

Came here after a night visit to Musée Maillol for warm drinks. When we came, the staff told us if we would only order drinks, we could not sit inside. It was really unfortunate because that night was really cold and windy, and inside was almost empty. Anyway, we were too lazy to walk more and chose to sit outside instead.

We ordered chocolat chaud viennois, and my boyfriend wanted to try lait chaud avec sirop. The chocolat chaud was finished in 2 slurp lol and we could not even really taste the chocolat, only the milk. And the price was €7 if I’m not mistaken, a bit too expensive tho for the quality.

We saw mostly good reviews about this restaurant and were hopeful, however, we were disappointed in the flavour of the food and my friend was actually ill in the night..... No wine was consumed! Such a shame as a nice ambience inside the restaurant and the service was reasonably good
