Super cool spot. First off, the coffee is fantastic. The overall experience is generally quite good too. We went to Noir three times, twice a little later in the day when it was very chill. We also went one morning just as they opened and it was a bit more businesslike. The baristas were all very nice, and the small selection of pastries was good too. The two walls forming the corner of the street and the alleyway are all glass and one side can open all the way in nice weather, so although the shop is small it's got a great feel. There are found tables and chairs to sit in and groove with the music (older hip hop most of the time we were there), or you can sit outdoors along the alley. After having a disastrous cappuccino in nearby “Café de Flore” we run away hoping to taste some good quality, freshly roasted coffee here based on google reviews but what a disappointment again! Paris truly has a blossoming specialty coffee scene, and Noir Coffee is undoubtedly the best I discovered during my visit! If you're a fan of craft coffee, you absolutely must give them a shot.
I was incredibly impressed by their daily drip coffee, which was an Ethiopian varietal. It was nothing short of stunning! The cup was bursting with delightful flavors of blueberry and just the right amount of sweetness, making for an extraordinary and memorable coffee experience.
