We went out of our way to come here because of the great reviews and were sorely disappointed. There were definitely a few red flags we should have noticed. First, the place was empty while the restaurant next door was bustling. Second, when we went to use the bathroom, it was next to the "kitchen" which was an approximately 2 square meter space with a couple of burners. Third, when we ordered prosecco it came out in plastic margarita glasses (see picture). The food looked absolutely nothing like any of the posted pictures and was mediocre at best. The prosecco was terrible - and I love prosecco! My husband couldn't even finish his. In fact, we all also left a fair amount of food on our plates as well because we just couldn't eat more. For 30 Euros a person, you can do much much better in Paris. The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1 is that the man who served...

This was among the bottom of all of my dining experiences in France. We were attracted by the 22 euro menu with nice sounding selections and (one of our rules) no hamburger on the menu. We should have been tipped off by the lack of people eating there and almost nobody getting food, but how bad could it be? Our soupe a l'onion was ok, but the cheese was more like mozzarella than gruyere. Not horrible, though. My duck confit was ok, but the side potatoes were mushy and obviously sitting around for a few days. Her fish was overcooked, with a gratin underneath that was edible. Dessert was included, and the creme brulee was broken, and my tarte tatin was soggy with rubbery crust. We should have known better: the kitchen was the size of a closet with only one guy and two stove burners and a refrigerator. ...

My husband & I went to this restaurant while on our trip to Paris. We had originally planned to go to a restaurant across the street, but they were booked for a private event. The owner (very sweet gentleman waived us over). For 25 euro, it was a three course meal (appetizer, entree and dessert) for us each! We had a nice bottle of wine and it was a total of 82 euro. I had the scallops as an appetizer, lamb with mashed potatoes, and honey ice cream (with pistachios!). It was all large portions and amazing. My husband had the onion soup, potatoes & duck, and ice cream as well (all delicious). Great service throughout! Would...

SCAM MENU! What a joke of a cafe/restaurant. The menu, which you have to scan a QR code to see, shows scallop risotto, but they don’t actually have it. It’s still listed on The Fork app too—not because they ran out, but because they just don’t serve it anymore. I came here just for the scallop risotto, so this was a complete waste of money and time. The service is also terrible—it feels more like a casual home gathering than a professional restaurant. I ended up getting the onion soup, which was a 3/10 at best.

Found this lovely cafe on a walk through the Marais. The cold asparagus soup with burrata and smoked salmon was beautiful and delicious. My husband had the French onion soup and it was very good. Then we shared the chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent. The patio had great people watching and was full of locals. The woman who took care of us was kind and helpful. I speak some French and she didn’t switch to English on me when she heard my accent, which I appreciated. Definitely recommend!
