Blend — Restaurant in Paris

Nice comfortable place. Staff was friendly. Fresh ingredients are always a plus. The burger was a bit over cooked, dry and crumbly. Not much in seasoning, and sauces and toppings over powered the whole flavor profile. I often lost any taste of the actual burger. The sweet potato fries were cold and saturated. These can be a challenge to do fresh. I've definitely had worse, but i still don't recommend them. They also pulled an old bartender trick with my partly over flowing beer. On the way to the table with my beer and cola, the beer started foaming over. He stopped and returned the beer. Delivered the cola. After which another server brought my beer, but this time with a cup that had a sample pour already in it. The worst part of the experience would be the end. Upon asking about my experience, I recounted everything for her. It was a nice conversation ending with me paying the full price of €35.50 for 2 burgers, 1 side sweet potato, a partially spilled...

We waited a little bit for them to open and was one of the first ones inside, but the few seats filled up quickly. The burgers were awesome, and the fries and slightly sweet/spicy ketchup were good. Decent selection of some distinctly American craft beers.

The only down side, in my estimation, was that the burgers could have a little more heft to them, they seem a bit dainty and small, but, in combination with the fries, it was enough to sufficiently fill me up.

The staff was excellent and attentive (and spoke English!), and the restaurant was comfortable and atmospheric. Definitely would like to try it again sometime and check out the burgers...

The Cheesy at Blend is a play on the classic cheeseburger. The ingredients consist of Beef, Cheddar, bacon, homemade ketchup, fried onions, pickles, and iceberg lettuce. The burger packs a lot of promise since these ingredients typically blend very well together. However, I found that the bun was too dry and there was not as much sweet and savory juiciness that I would have expected. The beef has a complex flavor but the burger falls short of being the "melt" I imagined by a significant measure.
