Atmosphere is great, such a cute restaurant and in a great location. We stayed at Citadines Les Halles across the street and stopped in for a night cap after a night out on our trip in early May. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, around a few other tables by the host. This again was around 12am on a week night, and we noticed the rest of the tables appeared to be locals, or French-speaking at least. It took a bit after that for our waiter to come by, but once he did and started talking to us, asked if we would wait a moment, and left. After he returned, he asked if we would mind getting up to move/follow him, where he brought us to a back dining room with no other guests. We thought this was odd obviously but didn’t say anything. We got our drink orders in for a beer and margarita and and waited again. The back dining area was nice and we did enjoy having this entire room to ourselves to have conversation, but still found it a bit weird we were moved away from everyone when we hadn’t requested this. Our drinks took a bit but received them with little to no follow up afterwards besides our bill. Overall we made the best of our time there together but it came across as we were placed away from everyone else and forgotten for not speaking French. And unfortunately we’re from the US and likely won’t have the chance to return. Would still recommend to anyone visiting/in the area but be aware of time of day/atmosphere of the diners...

To the Owner, I want to advise you of the disgusting service my family and i had today. We had spent a fabulous 3 days at the Novotal opposite your Brassiere. Our last day today we decided to visit and have the Brunch. I and my son decided we did not want the brunch and advised that my husband would have the brunch and we would order separately off the menu. The waiter who attended us advised that he could only take the order for hot drinks and eggs. In total we were given dry bread and x3 eggs which amounted to 90.50 euros. I challenged your so call manager with the fake wig and she said it was not her problem even though she admitted the waiter made the mistake. Disgusting behaviour, service, attitude. your establishment robbed us . What i will say is what goes around comes around and it will come back on you. To be robbed just because we were tourists is disguising. Only gave 1 star or unable to post. My advice if your a...

This restaurant sits across the street from my hotel and at first, I was quite suspicious as it is close to a Metro and I thought those places were meant for tourists. We ended up having lunch here before we left for the airport and the food was excellent! We ordered the fois gras to start and it comes in two big slices and jam with bread. I had Carbonara pasta since I had to share with my son, who is a picky eater. It turned out to be really delicious with a raw egg on top. My husband ordered a lamb shank and it was humongous and tender! If I ever stay near Les Halles again, I would no doubt dine here again and do people watching.

Service was good, we ordered entrecot with a side of fries and ratatouille, escargots, onion soup and salmon. The meat was not tender fries were refried for at least second time, all the food was rather warm than hot. Salmon was baked and overcooked not seared it was not tasty, escargots were poor quality and the soup was not fresh tasting. I would definetely not recommended this place. Also we returned the salmon but they said even though it was not up to our expectations they had to charge us for it. Atmosphere is very authentic but furniture and place in general is worn out.
