Usually my wife and I are accustomed to enjoying the coffee that is offered within our hotel or Airbnb. However, since we’re not in Paris often, we figured that we should try a coffee shop that is frequented by the locals. After doing a quick around me, this coffee shop caught my idea due to its Peanut Butter-themed approach.
Walking up to the business, we were greeted by the outdoor seating area which was occupied by individuals socializing and working. Once we were at the front of the line, we were greeted by a friendly & patient employee that assisted us with deciding on a coffee drink and treat. I opted for the “Le Buddy” and the peanut butter cookie. Five minutes later our buzzer alerted us that our order was ready.
Starting with the peanut butter cookie: This is not your everyday peanut butter cookie! It is very flavor forward and has a rich creamy texture. Although not huge in size, I felt like I consumed a meal afterwards (this could have also been influenced by the coffee as well).
On to the Le Buddy drink: If you have read any of my past reviews of coffee shops, you have probably gathered that I’m not a coffee connoisseur. However, I do like it as a caffeinated sidekick to socializing (similar to how folks socialize over adult beverages- including myself). This drink was delicious and perfectly complimented the peanut butter cookie. Also, there was a delicious surprise of peanut butter at the bottom of the drink (I probably should have stirred it before consuming but I was too excited at the time).
I highly recommend paying Buddy Buddy Nut Butter Coffee...
Read moreI cannot rave enough about Buddy Buddy. I first discovered their artisan nut butters on Instagram and instantly fell in love. I then went to their café in Brussels and I got so obsessed with it, this whole idea of a nut butter atelier and the nut butters at the centre of everything they make, used in drinks and pastries. They now have a 2nd location in Paris and I’m a regular customer because I just cannot get enough. My usual order is an iced Buddy (peanut butter latte) with their signature peanut butter cup. That’s the stuff that makes me happy. I also love their designs, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and they are so creative with their pastries and baked goods too. I can never recommend it enough. The place is packed on weekend afternoons so I’d recommend going on a sunny day and grabbing takeaway (especially near the canal in Paris, lovely walk), or going earlier for breakfast or later in the evening. But do give it a go! You can also buy lots of cool stuff there from enamel pins, ceramics and coffee. You can also, obviously, stock up on their whole range of nut butters - my faves are the classic peanut butter, the chocolate hazelnut spread and the piemonte...
Read moreI recently visited Buddy Buddy Nut butter cafe in Paris, and I can’t recommend it enough! Tucked away near Canal Saint-Martin, this place offers a unique and cozy vibe that’s perfect for a relaxing break. The atmosphere is chic yet welcoming, with minimalist decor and a lovely outdoor seating area.
The nut butter lattes are absolutely delicious—especially the signature “Le Buddy” latte, which combines rich coffee with a smooth peanut butter flavor. It’s the perfect balance of creamy and flavorful, unlike anything I’ve ever had before. They also offer a variety of vegan pastries, and the peanut butter cup was a standout. It was indulgent, perfectly sweet, and a real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.
The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re a fan of unique coffee drinks or just looking for a quiet, comfortable café to relax in, Buddy Buddy is definitely worth a visit.
I’ll be back soon to try more of their creative menu items! Highly recommend this spot to anyone...
