Carnis Cantine — Restaurant in Paris

This is my third time in Paris and my second time kind of accidentally staying in this neighborhood. The fourth time I will understand where I am a bit more, anyway this is my second time visiting this restaurant in the last two years and I happen to have had the same server too. I will say it is one of the most affordable and delicious restaurants I’ve ever gone to without the pomp and circumstance.

This time, I had the pulled pork with vegetables and a very delightful cappuccino.

Last time I believe I had chicken and a salad. I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area. Lunch time only I think. The atmosphere here is exceptional. It’s a truly French experience complete with an amazing specials selection. Caroline, one of the waitresses, made us feel at home and helped us pick food for one of our party who is allergic to gluten. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced, definitely didn’t feel hungry afterwards! The chicken baguette was incredible and the pulled pork was outstanding. Chez Carnis cantine Chaque jour il y a des entrée et plats différents comme par exemple en entrée Oeufs Mayonnaise 3,00€, qOeufs mollets champions 3,30€ en plat Burger cochon cantal 6,80€, du Gigot d'agneau avec des petites pomme de terre, gros oignon, endives, patate douce, épice très très bon ou bien une saucisse de Morteau couper en rondelles servi avec du choux et des lentilles très bon plat a moins de 14,00€ aussi Burger cochon cantal 6,80€ et en dessert une mousse a la clémentine et Chantilly et soupoudrer de speculoos dessert pas trop de sucre très bon aussi du Fondant au chocolat a moins de 4,00€ de même une Excellente Galette des rois faite maison 🏠, Brioche nappé de caramel au beurre salé avec brisure de noix de cajou Bon. Par exemple pour le mois de décembre il y a eu des huitre L'écaillé ma fait goûter les deux sortes d'huîtres la classique pleine mer et la spécial j'ai préféré la deuxième Je me suis pris 12 huîtres spécial qui est moins salée est plus coûteuse.
