💥 Café Marguerite: Where AI Picks Turn Into Life Wins 💥

We let AI guide us here, and honestly? This little café came through like a plot twist in a Tarantino movie.

The day was cool, the outdoor seating was a little cramped—tables so close you could accidentally join someone else’s conversation about the best baguette in Paris—but somehow we scored a spot right at the entrance. Prime real estate for people-watching and low-key judging fashion choices.

Our waiter appeared instantly, and bless him for speaking Spanish because our French is tragic. Like, “Netflix auto-translate” tragic. Water hit the table fast, and then came the drinks: I finally got my hands on a mezcal negroni—smoky, bitter, straight-up pleasant—and my wife grabbed her signature Aperol spritz like the classy badass she is.

For food, we went with the daily specials. Her fish? Light. Super flavorful. By the end, she was dead serious about drinking the sauce like it was soup. I had the pork filet, which hit that rare sweet spot of being meaty but still somehow light. The creamy white sauce, paired with the potato salad, was one of those flavor combinations that made me want to shake the chef’s hand and ask, “How dare you make something this perfect?”

And then… the crème brûlée. Holy hell. This wasn’t just dessert. This was France showing off. The top cracked like a perfect vinyl record scratch, and the custard underneath was smooth enough to make you question every life decision that brought you to lesser crème brûlées before this one.

🔥 Verdict: Come here. Order whatever’s on special. Sit too close to strangers. End with the crème brûlée. You’ll leave feeling like Paris let you in...

Had a lovely experience at Café Marguerite! We got a cheese board to share, which was so excellent - lots of tasty cheeses for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the cheeses with a lovely rosé, so that was a treat! In addition, I got the steak with a delicious sauce and yummy fries. The steak was a bit chewy for me, but I nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed as the seasoning and sauce compensated for that. My boyfriend got the duck confit which was outstanding. For dessert, we got a crème brûlée which was just lovely. The crème had a very smooth texture, was not overly sweet, and of course had a delicious crunchy top - perfect. Additionally, our server graciously communicated with us in English, and we received great service. I don’t remember his name, but he was thoroughly knowledgeable of the menu, giving great recommendations and giving us a laugh while at it. Café Marguerite also has a wonderful, cute interior that faces out onto a quieter, but still lively street. Definitely...

I’m in Paris for Fashion Week and was craving an authentic French meal 😋Café Marguerite did not disappoint! The cozy bistrot atmosphere feels quintessentially Parisian, and from the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely top-notch.

I started with the French onion soup, which was rich, perfectly caramelized, and beautifully gratinated — one of the best I’ve ever had. For my main course, I went with the chicken cordon bleu, recommended by Sébastien, and it was simply divine 👌crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside, with just the right balance of cheese and ham.

The team was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food. You can truly taste the love and authenticity in every bite.

I’ll definitely be coming back to this charming café on my next visit to Paris. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real French dining experience! 🇫🇷✨ Gracias Sebastian tu servicio was...

The district is awesome, south pigalle with all it's hidden gems is great. We came here to grab a bite to eat and left disappointed. Upon arriving we had to work to get the waitress. Once she arrived the refreshments arrived quickly. After properly hydrating we ordered dinner. Salad and fish and chips. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time but the results for me were bad. Fish was super small, guessing around 100g of fish (generous and this was 16€). It was also undercooked. I sent it back and was rewarded with the same piece being returned and recooked and soggy. Overall this is just bad. You have to expect and demand more for both the location and the prices. I will NOT return here and you should choose alternative options.
