Casero — Restaurant in Paris

Visited this place during a work day for lunch and had the lunch menu. The food tasted amazing, I had the spinach and ricotta empanada and the caramelized onion one and both tasted amazing.

The waiter that day seemed a bit lost, even tough our orders came quickly, the service could have been better. The lemon cake was delicious, crumbly but not too dry, and the thin layer of icing was just tangy enough to make the whole thing balanced. The cream added was not too sweet so it was delicious overall.

Props for the dessert portion: it was huge, can be an issue for some people but...

I used to visit Casero often when I was living in the neighbourhood. I recently took some empanadas to-go – the server seems to be in an awful mood which was very off putting.

Aviso para argentinos, vivo en el barrio y compro empanadas hace años en este lugar, lástima que con el tiempo bajaron de calidad, la de pollo la llenan de morrón y desde hoy las empanadas de carne deberían llamarse empanadas de huevo duro y papa, sin hablar de la masa cruda que se pega en la caja y cuando las sacas para calentar se desarman, tal vez de ratas de meter 7 empanadas apiladas en una cajita mínima. no sé si cambian a la persona que las hace o qué pero ya no son lo que eran. Dommage Y como hoy estoy re caliente de pagar 7 empanadas que se rompieron voy a decir todo. Antes te daban el chimichurri sin preguntar, ahora ni te lo sugieren. Cuando comes en el lugar el servicio es muy lento aunque haya una mesa, la vinagreta de la ensalada es espantosa y se zarpan a la hora de ponerla, la provoleta es un plástico grasoso, los vinos además de carísimos mal guardados, pagué fortuna por un Rutini, y los chipá son una bola de manteca congelada, lo único que zafaba, hasta hoy, eran las empanadas, un...
