2023: I'm still coming here, so glad they survived the pandemic and even managed to do some renovation!

2013: i'm a regular here for the last half year or so with around 4-5 visits. it is a good place to have a light meal and not expensive. the story is that this place is around for 35 years or so, and traditional brittany style. there is one "cook" usually making all the dishes in the "kitchen" which is at the store front. for an area full of tourists, i find myself usually the only non french customer, so the atmosphere is very nice.

it seems to be good quality crepe (wholegrain?) and also the fillings are of good quality. some artisanal products which are authentic in taste. i prefer the one with andouille de gremene (pork intestine / tripe "sausage") and boudin noir (pork blood sausage), it has a very special taste if you like innards. otherwise there are safer options like with eggs and ham and cheeses and other sausages.

to go with your crepe you can choose to have cidre or wine. i usually have cidre unless i choose a heavier taste crepe.

i haven't tried so many of the dessert crepes, but i recall the calvados gelee one is very special.

the staff are friendly and know english, there is also english menu. they also except...

Refined simplicity. I have had many a proper Bretonne crepe in Paris over the years, but these were truly perfect. My Beau and I went for an early dinner this evening. I happened upon this place earlier in the day while running an errand. So happy we tried it. I had a Complete (ham, cheese, organic egg), the Beau had Double (with cheese and ham); we shared a half pitcher of dry cider. HAD to have dessert: Citron (fresh lemon, brown sugar) for him, Caramel au Beurre Sale Maison (caramel with salted butter) for moi. Delicious! Sorry I did not snap photos of the food, but took one of the outside on our way out. Underrated, there should have been a line down the block. GO! Enjoy! UPDATE: We went back this evening, 18 June. We loved what we had a couple of nights ago so much that we had the same thing! This time I snapped a few photos,...

A homely feel as you enter the cosy restaurant. And you could see the chef preparing the food as the kitchen was situated just beside the entrance to the dining area. Ordered Nordic and Popeye... but the latter became a Goat cheese, bacon & and potato galettes. The chef was pretty apologetic as they had gotten the 2nd by mistake. It was a pleasant "mistake" as both were nice and authentic. The sparkling apple juice and apple cider were good too 😋. We were really full after the savoury crepes. Another pleasant surprise when the chef, Alma (hope I've gotten her name right), made us a sweet crepe to sample (to compensate for the earlier mistake)...,Wow, it was...

We came across this place by coincidence, but were thrilled by the experience. This family-run place serves buckwheat (gluten free) as well as wheat crepe here, both thin as air, the perfect amount of crispy and absolutely delicious. If I could give more than 5* to the service I would. They made us feel instantly at home. This magical combination of great food and welcomming staff makes us definitely want to go back and taste more flavors on the menu. (We will.)
