The experience that made me hate "brunch" and the whole concept of waiting in line to eat food. Here is my unhappy story: So we were a group of 4 people. We have been waiting in line for 40 minutes in the cold before reaching the door. And tables inside were only for 1 person (sit on the counter facing the street), two people (a table of 2) or 3 people sharing one table. If you are a group of 4, then I'm sorry for you because there's only one table and the people there have already finished 30 minutes prior to leaving but decided to just sit there and order nothing. The manager and the servers didn't even bother to rush them a little bit. They didn't even ask them if they wanted to order something else or clean their table so they understand that other people are waiting outside (This is important for later). And groups of 2 and 3 were getting in front of us and managed didn't even try to get two tables together to make a place for us, a group of 4! Once we got in, the choice of food was so poor. No variety whatsoever. It's either an overpriced sandwich or an overpriced sandwich. No menu combo, nothing! A simple flat white coffee is 5.50, and an orange juice is 7 euros for god's sake! A stupid sandwich is 17 euros! And it doesn't even taste good! So to have a crappy experience and wait in line for 40 minutes until the door then 30 minutes for the group of 4 to leave, and have below average and overpriced food, then when it's your turn the management then remembers to tell you leave because other are waiting, then you have to come to this place. Otherwise, go have a blast in any other brunch place with a real brunch and a reasonable price, you'll save yourself the frustration. Horrible...
Read moreThis just became my favourite brunch place in Paris. One of the few places where you can get all day brunch, AND with healthy options for those like me! Most healthy places in Paris are vegan, but here you can add salmon gravlax, eggs or bacon to your dishes which I absolutely love. On the savory side I recommend avo toast, Turkish eggs, sandwich, and the Benedict. For the sweet stuff is hard to choose but try their basque cheesecake, acai (which is done with no added sugar) or yogurt bowl. Other than the food, their coffee is also top quality. Nice, cool barista that knows how to prepare a perfect americano which although being the simplest form of coffee, can be the toughest to ace. The matcha is also top since you can have it with different types of milks. Coconut was my choice. I believe the matcha powder is ceremonial. At least the quality feels like it. Finally, I felt so welcomed and comfortable, as all the staff is focused on your comfort. I was welcomed and taken to my table by the owner himself and that truly makes...
Read moreThe food was ok but the space was very small alias u have no space and have to squeeze into the seats. There was a big line and an even bigger one formed while we were inside. We arrived at 11:15 und got seated around 11:40 which was ok for me. I had the avocado toast which was just ok. What really disappointed me was that u had to order the eggs separate and with the price of 13€ for the avocado toast alone is overpriced. I also had a hot chocolate which I really enjoyed. My friend had the pancakes which we shared. The pancakes were freshly made but the mascarpone cream was really unnecessary as it didn’t deliver any flavor. The berrys were a joke because I could count up to 7 berry’s for the whole pancakes. The interior of the cafe was on one side very clinical and basic and on the other side the ceiling was eye catching. They played good music that could have been a bit quieter for my taste. Inside the seating is...
