I would stay here again! Very cute and centrally located boutique hotel with a caring staff, great service, and many restaurant choices nearby. I had room 204.
Pros -I felt safe. -Modern and Clean, smells good. -Very nice staff who offer great advice and recommendations. -Beds are comfortable and can comfortably fit two adults. -Rooms are Paris-size standard but big enough to fit our two oversized luggage’s. -AC/Heating. -You don’t have to turn in your room key upon exiting the hotel for the day (as I’ve learned some hotels in Paris require). -Close to subway, ATM, pharmacy, shopping, and restaurants. -7 minute walk from Roissybus airport shuttle. -All day Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Also offers still and sparkling water. -Staff offers complimentary pastries outside of breakfast hours (first come first served). I didn’t choose the breakfast package but from the looks of it, you could probably do without and enjoy breakfast at cafes elsewhere.
Cons (but we didn’t mind)- -Accessibility: Elevator is small but you can get away with squeezing yourself with some luggage in…if you’re not plus sized or claustrophobic. Something the size of a stroller will not fit. Luckily we were placed on the second floor so moving our luggage wasn’t a hassle. By the way, the first floor is not ground level, you have to use the stairs to access the 1st floor. Hallways and stairwells are narrow. Overall not accessible-friendly.
-Construction: During my stay in February, there was construction but it wasn’t a bother as it began around the times we were beginning to exploring the city. It was not too loud and it ends around the close of business hours. The hotel is location on an otherwise quiet street.
-Walls are thin: You may hear your neighbors conversations if they’re...
Read moreRight in the centre of Paris it is the perfect location to get to all the sightseeing spots, some even by foot, you'd want to go. Its only a few minutes away from the bustling Galerie Lafayette and main road, but since its located in a side street and there are no tourists and its very quiet. Lots of restaurant and shopping possibilities nearby. The room was a good size, a bit small for others but normal for parisian hotels, and everything was very clean. The bed was very comfy and made everyday. The bathroom was cleaned and our towels replaced accordingly.
Breakfast was nice, but lacked a bit of options and variety. Many times we had to wait for bread, croissant and other things like Pancakes, Crêpes (which I only saw on the first day and the other days they were missing even though we went to breakfast at different times) since it wasn't stocked up in time. Also I'd wish the bread section would have been fresh and not just made out of ready-made ones. Since we are in Paris you would expect freshly baked goods from a bakery. Although it is convenient to eat at the hotel, I would say its not something I would eat everyday again (especially if you are there for a longer time you eventually will get tired of the same food). There is a water dispenser downstairs and sometimes you will find cake as well which you can drink and eat 24/7 for free. The only thing missing in the room would be a refrigerator, I would love to have the possibility, especially during summer to store cool things.
All in all everybody was very hospitable and we felt very welcome. I would definitely book again, since the cost-performance ration for the location, cleanliness and service was a very good deal...
Read moreLocation is convenient to subway, Roissy Bus to airport, Monoprix, and major department stores. |Check in and out was smooth. Receptionists at the front desk were always friendly.|The lift is REALLY SMALL so if you have big luggage you might have to take them 1 at a time. Two people will not be able to fit in the lift with luggage. But hey I am grateful there is a lift so there is no need to carry my suitcase upstairs. |In regards to the room, I forgot the room number but do not take the room with the slanted ceiling shower. I am a short person not even 1.65 and my constant fear in the shower is that my head will bump into the ceiling. The faucet is also very high off the basin so when you wash your hands or face the water will keep splatter all over your torso and also splatter all over the toilet paper. There is no space in the bathroom to put your toiletry bag, clothes etc. I had to move a stool from the room into the bathroom as a makeshift counter. The air vent was covered with dust. The shower curtain does not cover the entire doorway to the shower so the water will splatter out all over the floor which means the bath mat will be completely soaked. Aside from the bathroom the room was nice. Blackout curtain, TV with multiple stations, great luggage stand with hangers. USB outlets, coffee maker, lots of lighting options. |Breakfast was standard. The staff was very friendly and kept things tidy.|Overall I would stay at this hotel again but would request not to be put...
