I genuinely do not understand why there is a line to eat here every day and how there are so many good reviews. Yes it is cheap, but that is the only good thing about it. I would rather have McDonald’s or Burger King if my goal is to get a cheap burger. This was the least satisfying burger I have ever tasted. First off, the “bacon” is absolutely not bacon. I have no idea what that was but I had to remove it from my burger it was so revolting. The burger meat itself had no taste. And the patty was very small so there was a huge outside rim of the burger where I was just eating bread. And the bread was not good. Give me a buttered potato bun and I’m happy to eat it on its own. This couldn’t be further from a good brioche or potato bun. This bun was so dense, terrible texture, and not a pleasant taste. The only thing I could taste was the overpowering red onions. The cheddar cheese sauce was the one redeeming quality, as it added a nice aesthetic appeal, but it didn’t have much flavour. The fries were so soggy and unappealing. I ate about 4 before trashing them. I’ve wanted to try this place for a while as I often pass in front and see loads of people. Never again. Save up your money and get Junk or Dumbo, truly delicious burgers in Paris. Even five guys is like 10x better. We tried all the burgers except the Winnie burger here. The BMF burger was by far the best out of the 4 we tried. However, they were all lacking. You couldn't taste seasoning in the patty, just tasted like cooked ground beef. The BMF has classic ingredients which carried the patty and made the burger enjoyable. Next best was the Grosseto burger. The ingredients were interesting but again, the patty wasn't flavourable. Both the Tom Mouzay and Ericephrene burgers were not good. Obviously that's my taste versus others. I found the use of strong cheese good, but again, the patties just taste like unseasoned ground beef. So the burger tastes like that... We also ordered the regular and curry fries. Those were tasty! Staff was great. Restaurant was kinda messy, lots of fries all over the floor, but they are a very busy restaurant and this was at the end of the lunch rush. There was a line outside the door when we arrived (we went on a friday around 14:00). The line went by quick enough, though and the menu was plastered on the window where it was visible on the outside, so you were able to spend your time thinking about what you want to order. We do not speak any french, but the person taking our order had no problem switching to English. The process was easy and spoke for itself. The prices are also very cheap, but you still get a good amount of food. It was very busy so we did not find a place to sit down but there was a little standing table we found to be able to eat at. It did not take very long for the food to come out and it was delicious. They also included a little tub of ketchup for your fries for free.
