I don't know why, but Italian restaurants in France are simply not. We hoped that this time it would be different, a 4.9 score on Google. The food was average minus. The parmigiana di melanzane - an Italian dish of kings was bland and too salty. The pasta (dish of the day with pesto and pistachios) arrived almost completely cold. Anemic, tasteless. Pesto, the Italian sauce. The green gold. Here it was really bad, it was barely noticeable in the dish. Read moreI love this place! My wife and I were there last week and it was fantastic. Tiny place, looks like one guy in the kitchen and two guys working the dining area. The food was excellent, my wife speaks Italian so we ended having a great time with the guys working there. Definitely make a reservation as we saw several parties turned away that didn't have one. Oh, and the wine was great, the recommendations were spot on, especially since I explained I didn't usually like Italian wines due to the dryness.
