First time dining here and just happened to come across their menu posted on the window advertising for authentic Hong Kong style cuisine and milk tea.
Three of us shared everything--french toast with peanut butter filling, and butter and condensed milk on top...delicious and crispy for 7.5 euros. We also had the pineapple brioche bun with butter for 4.5 euros and the top was so crispy...another winner! We also had the rice noodle wrapped around a chinese donut for 7 euros and it was okay....i have tasted better ...putting some hoisin and sesame sauce on it would have tasted even better. We then had the duo meat (soya chicken and crispy pork belly on rice) which had a fried egg on top for 16 euros. We also had the cold wonton noodles with crispy pork belly and soya chicken for 18 euros without the egg on it. The crispy pork skin was crispy but the soya chicken was a bit of a disappointment because it didn't have much taste. We also ordered a cup of hong kong style milk tea for 5.5 euros and it tasted very authentic.
Overall, the restaurant's food is very good and service was excellent. The owners (husband and wife team) are absolutely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They were eager to get feedback on their food which is always a good sign.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Paris looking for authentic Hong Kong style tea and noodles/wontons/snacks. We will...
Read more🌟Best - 豉油雞 chicken with soy sauce Very tender and smooth texture. Good quality chicken. 👏🏻Up to standard - 燒肉 & 叉燒crispy pork and char Siu The crispy pork has really crispy skin and delicate meat, but the skin is slightly on the hard side. Very happy to be able to taste them is such good quality in Paris. 🉑Average - 雲吞wonton They wrapped it themselves which I really appreciate, but the skin wrap plus the filling is a bit dry, didn’t taste like prawn very much. Tho topping 蝦籽 caviar de crevettes smells very good.
They serve 🌶️spicy sauce on each table, which is an authentic detail. The dishes are flavourful and delicious, tho slightly under seasoned by hk standard, probably healthier that way. Just wish the lo mien was saucier, but if you ask for extra soy sauce, they would kindly give you some.
As a Hong konger I really enjoyed the food, the decor, the vibe and the service here. It’s a mix of Hong Kong efficiency and Parisian courtesy. The also play songs of my favourite hk singer 衛蘭💗 among other 90s-2000s classics, amazing...
Read moreI'm from Hong kong in europe for a trip. I have been craving Asian food and my aunt recommended this place to me. It is as authentic as it gets. The cha chan tang vibe is retro yet clean unlike most of the ones in hk. Also the satay beef noodle is better than the ones i had in hk and beef quality is so nice. the curry sauce for the curry egg balls is so authentic and yummy. We finished up the sauce mixing it in the noodles. I cannot wait to go back for the siu mei rice. I kept salivating looking that dish beside me. There are a lot of authentic items i still wish to try like the satay pineapple bun and cha siu pastry. Please check out the washroom wall, it's all famous singers cassette tape covers. The owner is very nice...
