Usually I don't write negative reviews. The inside area was empty and the cook greeted me and said to sit anywhere so I chose a round table by a lovely open window. I went to wash my hands -the faucet was barely attached to the sink. When I returned to sit at the table the manager asked if I was alone. I nodded so he asked me to move as it was a table for 4. This is typical treatment of an old woman alone. I declined. It was after 3 pm and I was the only person inside with seating for 30 -40 people all around. €19 was way too much for a very small portion of bavette du boeuf, on a smear of humus on pita, with soggy lettuce, and heaps of dried up tasteless roast potatoes with some sort of chips scattered over. Everything else was either horrendous, or bland. Do not get the Shish Tawouk at this place! The seasoning and spices they put is abhorent. It's a sweet chicken and tastes nothing like shish tawouk. Read moreWe were in Paris the second week of August 2018. After a long walk in Le Marais, we were hungry and we found this place while walking through the neighborhood. The owner is an awesome guy and went out of the way to take good care of us. The folks who work at this place are extremely nice too. The falafel plate we ordered was a big portion but we were hungry and managed to finish it. It tasted good too....
