Ramen for Dummies:
Step 1) Serve your already watered down “broth” lukewarm.
Step 2) Add a handful of frozen toppings to add that extra cold punch to the “broth”.
Step 3) Add soggy noddles (Ignore the noodle cook scale, no need for respect here)
Step 4) Poorly “source” your meats and vegetables.
Step 5) Hire a young crew, slap ramen t-shirts on their back and teach them a word or two of Japanese so The “face is saved”. They should also be able to use a microwave in case you complain about your lukewarm “broth” or frozen vegetables.
The only thing that was warm that night was my fond memories of eating perfect temperature bowls of ramen in Japan on a peaceful summer. If I would have known I was walking into a “Picard”, I would have gladly brought my freezer bag to take my food to go! I really do hope it was a bad night for you. Maybe your provider ran out of fresh produce? Maybe the seals on the fridge are a bit worn out turning it into an igloo? Maybe you hired an entire new staff who had no idea about the beauty that comes out of a demanding precision work?
GIVE ME BACK MY HOPE !! (And for the real ones who read until the end, go get yourself a warm broth...

We asked for a water refill for the genmaicha tea (it is totally fine to reuse the tea and it is often done) and the staff said they do not do water refill. It is the first time we had this experience from simply requesting some hot water. We then asked another person from the staff if they could refill with hot water and they accepted.
I don’t know why this place has 4.2 average rate. The Ramen is delicious for only €20 and there is a nice tea selection. I 100% recommend different Ippudo restaurants across the city. This one is in particular Most convenient for us, traveling by train as it is walking distance...
Read moreToday was my 2nd time visiting this place. The 1st time when I went, I waited 30 mins for my ramen to arrive.. nevertheless the quality and the taste was good. But this time when i went again and also, invited 2 of my friends to try the ramen suggesting them this is the best place.. we had ordered Tori Shoyu and we waited and waited for 1 hour and we gave up at the end.. looks like, if i go there for the 3rd time, the waiting time will only increase and not decrease..
