Au Métro — Restaurant in Paris

My wife and I are pensioners and we have just spent 5 days in a small hotel very close to this Cafe. We came here on our first night for dinner and returned every evening thereafter. Without a doubt this cafe provides the best 3-course meal and the friendliest service we have ever enjoyed in all our annual trips in France, and all for a 15euro Formule. A different menu each night, and every single dish was really tasty. Even the background music was right up my street! We could not fault the service, and we thank our hosts most sincerely. We miss them (and we hope they remember us, at least for a few more days!)

Came here on my own after a very long stressful journey and super tired. Decided I needed a quick breakfast and to hide from the rain. Was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable despite being solo. I had a cheese Omelette and tea and let me tell you this Omelette was one of the best I've ever had. Beautifully presented and very reasonable for Paris. Total Rip-Off, Zero Service!

My father visited this establishment today, and what a disaster it was! Not only did they charge an exorbitant 3 euros 50 for a drink, but they conveniently failed to mention that they only accept card payments, which was hidden away in some obscure French text. My father ended up paying a full 10 euro which was the minimum apparent amount, and what did he get in return? Absolutely nothing! The lack of transparency and customer service is appalling.
