A hot Indian Summer day in Paris. Too hot to eat, but it is never really too hot to eat, you just have to choose more carefully. I decided Lebanese was probably the best option for the weather but have been disappointed with most Lebanese food I have tried in Paris (although I am usually short on time and tend not to spend time on research).
I stumbled across Kebi and was intrigued by what was obviously a personal and slightly idiosyncratic take on what I know as Kibbeh. I opted for the formule and had a lovely tabbouleh and for the plat a selection of 3 fish kebi in a soupe de crustace.
All of it delicious, better than I had expected and more than enough on such a hot day. Good value and a nice concept as well as taste so thoroughly recommended. The servers and cooks are the nicest people on earth and talk with you humanly - you feel welcomed and cared for, which from my experience, isn't really a thing in Paris, especially when you're a short term tourist not speaking French.
