We had a reservation 2 months before we go there and they didn't even hold it. So we were visiting Paris with my girlfriend(both of us being students) and we saw that this restaurant was offering all you can eat oysters every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday for 44eu so we decided to get this action for Christmas day dinner. Therefore we did the reservation and we asked them if it's possible to have this offer on Christmas day and they said yes. Almost 2 months pass by and it's about a week before we travel to France and we send them another email just asking if the offer of unlimited oysters is possible on Christmas day and their response is "yep good for us". So we go there 5 minutes before our reservation time and they want us to sit in a corner between 2 families all cramped up basically at the same table with the one family and when we told them that we are not sitting in there they just put us up the bar. But the best part is when we asked the waiter there for the unlimited oysters offer he said that they can't do that because it's Christmas day and they have a lot of deliveries so they're out of the kind of oysters they give for this offer. At that point while we were searching for other places to go he offered us a glass of champagne which we refused and told him even tho he messed us up can we at least have a discount on the 2 people plate so that we can still eat something without paying 70 eu each to that he said "no the champagne is the discount". So at this note I've had enough of his rudeness so we drank the discount and left the place and ate at a restaurant called les Antiquaires and had an absolute...
Read moreA good friend of mine, who used to live in Paris, kindly recommended booking a table here for my birthday — and what a fantastic suggestion it was!
By day, the venue operates as a fish shop, but in the evening, it transforms into an elegant yet cosy restaurant. My partner and I started with an appetiser before sharing 'Le Seafood,' a generous platter of mixed cooked and raw fish. I highly recommend it — the oysters were exceptional! To accompany our meal, we chose my favourite white wine, Muscadet, and were impressed by their extensive selection of quality wines.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, speaking excellent English. A special mention goes to 'The Lillies'—the two lovely waitresses, Lilly and Lilly — who took great care of us and kept us entertained all evening. To top it off, we were delighted when the chef came out to greet us and check if everything had been to our satisfaction. Despite it being the end of service and us being the last guests, they continued to make us feel welcome.
To be honest, I wouldn’t think twice about returning — next time I’m in Paris, I’ll definitely stop by this amazing...
Read moreHa ha! Had a blast at this place. They have a full seafood counter where you can buy and take away to cook at home, or a restaurant where you can sit and eat. We ate in and had so much fun with the wait staff. While we were in Paris we had 3 different seafood towers and this was by far the best. The bar tender and waitress really made the experience!!! All the seafood was right off the boat that day, and could not have been more fresh. We went with an upgraded version of the seafood tower for 2, and that was plenty of food. The oysters and pink shrimp from Madagascar were the stars of the night, but everything was fantastic. The upgrade was to add a whole spiny lobster which to be honest was not as sweet as it is in San Diego when we usually have it. The tower we had came with small gray shrimp you eat whole, and lightly boiled cockles that were salty and perfect. We had a bottle of champagne and it really made the whole experience perfect. If you are going to eat seafood only once in Paris this is the only...
