During my visit to Paris, I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Kozy Café, and it was an experience I would definitely recommend. I arrived about 15 minutes after opening, and at that time, about half of the tables were still available. However, if you plan to visit around noon, be prepared for a long wait—unless you make a reservation, you might have to stand in line for nearly an hour. This café is clearly a popular spot, and after trying their food, I completely understand why.
The breakfast at Kozy is absolutely fantastic. They offer a variety of delicious options. Their croissants and other baked goods are fresh, flaky, and incredibly flavorful, making them a perfect way to start the day. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted just as good as it looked.
In addition to the food, I highly recommend trying their smoothies. They are made from fresh fruits and have the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. Whether you’re in the mood for something refreshing or a nutrient-packed drink, their smoothies are a great choice.
The atmosphere of the café is also worth mentioning. It has a cozy and modern interior, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly and efficient, even when the café started getting busier. Despite the growing crowd, the service remained smooth, and the wait times for food were reasonable.
Overall, Kozy Café is an excellent breakfast and brunch spot in Paris. The combination of amazing food, great drinks, and a warm ambiance makes it a must-visit if you’re in the city. Just make sure to either arrive early or book a table in advance if you want to avoid...
Read moreI went there for brunch and ordered an avocado toast. What I got was a piece of bread so hard it was like a rock. I asked politely if I could have it redone. The waitress hesitated, went to the counter to ask what to do, then came back saying they’d remake it. Fair enough but then I was left waiting 35 minutes without any sign of my food, while the rest of my table had already finished eating.
When I finally asked for the check, the waitress casually told me, “sorry but We have other orders before yours.” Honestly, when a restaurant makes a mistake on an existing order, it should be corrected as a priority not pushed to the back of the line. And even if that were the case, 35 minutes for toast is unacceptable.
To make things worse, when she brought the payment machine, she charged me for the entire order including the dish I never received. When I pointed this out, she claimed I had eaten half of it, which was completely false. But even if i did at least bring me another half ? Why pay for an entire order when you couldn’t even eat it ?? All I had done was break a piece to see if it was edible. It seemed like they had just reheated old bread until it turned to stone. It was so hard when i broke it it fell on the other table
Eventually, she brought over the manager. I explained everything, and he did adjust the bill, but with a cold, dismissive attitude. No apology, no thank you, no goodbye just a feeling that we were being rushed out.
My advice to the owner: please hire staff who actually understand and speak French, and more importantly, people who are genuinely happy to work and treat customers with...
Read moreCame here for brunch based on the stellar reviews as our final meal in Paris before heading to the train station. Prepared for a long wait, which turned out to be 45 minutes.
Ordered the french briche banana and carmel and the chicken and waffles. Overall the brioche was lovely, bjut the chicken to companion the waffle was agressivley fried. Most of the edges were inedible from being near burnt. The parts that were not were tasty.
Pros: Great Coffee and nice brunch menu with variety. Food overall was enjoyable. You can order from your table so you don't have to wait for a server.
Cons: We were seated as a party of 2 at a table that can be described as barely big enough to be a plane tray table. essentially part of one of our plates had to be having over the edge at all times. We were positioned partially in the only aisle pathway so we felt like we had to tuck ourselves in or have out elbows taken out. IF you need anything its very difficult to flag anyone down as they're all running around (it was extremely busy when we were there).
If you choose to take the chance to eat here, be prepared for a wait and possibly being cramped into a table too small for your party. DO NOT bring your luggage (lesson learned). Its such a small restaurant and they will "store" your luggage as a courtesy in the back near the restrooms. Sadly, my companions bag had its zipper half opened ,so we think a patron was trying to rifle. Thankfully all important items were in our backpacks under our feet. Overall a good backup option if you walk past and the line to wait is short and yuu're not overwhelmed with...
