Our first stop in Paris after nearly 3 years. Discovered this place after read about it on the New York Times magazine. We were not particularly impressed by gourmet burgers but the first bite here changed our mind. We ordered the Nikita and Napolitain. The Nikita was just a tiny bit over in saltiness perhaps due to the combination of bacon, cheddar and pickles. The buns were excellent - well formed and just the right level of golden crunchiness on the outside. The buns held the patties and ingredients well. The Napolitain was our favorite. We could easily order another one to share. The 'coin de rue' potato were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We didn't go for the big bottles. The French IPA and the glass of cote du Rhone were sufficient to cleanse our palette after each bite. Service was very attentive despite the rush of lunch crowd after 12:45. We manage to chat a bit with the service staffs because we were the first couple seated outside (when the weather is good in Paris, always sit outside, it's free!) We could have go for the other items on the menu but we preferred to leave room for the next trip. The restaurant is nested in a nice Beau Passage next to the metro station Rue du Bac so definitely worth a two hour lunch trip or an evening weekend trip. Our waiter told us they had sold a record of 350 burgers recently. It's interesting to see an open kitchen with busy staff preparing just a few nice items. As many places in Paris, sometimes the weather and ambience add on to the enjoyment of the food. Service is friendly and the kitchen staff are happy. Happy people make better food. We spent about 55 euro in total for two burger with potato cubes and two basic drinks. Worth a visit and certainly...

Me and my boyfriend passed by and decided to give this place a try without a reservation and we got a table right at about 12pm. The taste of the food is good, nothing to write home about but in general the flavours are good. What I’m more concerned about is the portion sizing and consistency in sizing. I ordered the kaki furai, and 2 of the oysters were decent sized and the other 2 were absolutely minuscule. For the price I would have expected a higher grade oyster. Anyways the shrimp tempura was good, and the accompanying sauce complemented the dish well. As for the mains, the katsudon was good, portion size was good as well, but my main thing was the wagyu beef. 120g of A3 Japanese wagyu for 85€? I’m sorry but that was honestly a shock, side veggies were good but the portion of the steak was minuscule and for what it comes down to 708€ a kilo at that price, honestly it was disappointing. The amount should be written on the menu in my opinion. Anyways after that we were still hungry so we shared a burger and the burger was pretty good. The matcha sundae honestly wasn’t to my taste, for a Japanese restaurant, the quality of matcha used was atrocious. The service was good the server with ginger hair was friendly but the manager honestly looked a little off with an open dress shirt and chest hair sticking out and everything, it was just kind of weird for this status of establishment. All in all the food was good but after eating almost 100€ per person, it just wasn’t something that was worth the price but that’s just my...

2 people. 1 starter to share: carpaccio de daurade (4/5) not a big portion but enough good. Main dishes: entrecote (2/5) the quality of the meat was acceptable but really overcooked compared to what I ordered. Also very expensive in my opinion. For this price you should get something better. Filets de rougets (0/5) we did not understand this dish at all. 38 euros for a small portion of probably frozen fish without any flavour. It comes with some kind of couscous also without any taste. Dessert: fromage du moment (2/5) only one small piece of acceptable cheese but I was expecting something better. Drinks (0/5). We ordered three glasses of white and three glasses of red wine. In both cases we ordered a 5 euros wine and they made us pay 15 euros per glass. This kind of mistakes can happen one time but obviously not six times. On top of that the quality of the wine was really poor. Service (0/5) the bill was around 100 euros more expensive that what we ordered. In top of paying 90 euros for 6 glasses of lower range wine, they tried to make us pay a more expensive price for some dishes, something they amended when I complained and I showed them their menu (except for the wine that we had to pay, of course). I stongly recommend to avoid this place, especially if you like the good wine and if you don’t want to...

Amazing burgers, in a well-designed location, with a very welcoming staff. You can tell there's the experience of a Michelin-starred chef behind this place. I tried the Nikita, a classic cheeseburger, and the Ebi, a burger with a fried shrimp patty. Both were delicious, with clean, delicious flavors. However, the one that truly stood out, surprisingly, was the Ebi. The shrimp flavor was mind-blowing: delicate, elegant, but at the sane time very pronounced. Three aspects that immediately showcase their praiseworthy attention to detail: a) the bun which is lightly fried, giving the sandwich a perfect texture; b) the way they assemble the ingredients making the burger neat and easy to eat; c) the homemade sauces accompanying the irregular, crispy fries, elevating the menu to a full 360-degree high-quality experience. All in all, exceptional. Highly recommended for those seeking an incredibly high-quality burger in a beautiful and enjoyable setting.
