I found this restaurant on The Fork and with 20% discount on offer it turned out to be very good choice. The quality of food was amazing, fresh and so tasty. I recommend cod ceviche in coconut milk - picture attached. The place was packed on Saturday night, lots of local people which is always a good sign ! The service was very friendly and polite but perhaps because the restaurant was so busy, it was less efficient than I would expect. Overall- a wonderful experience.

Honnêtement, j’avais très peur de ne pas aimer car je suis extrêmement difficile en matière de nourriture. Mais quelle belle surprise ! Tout était absolument délicieux, et le patron est d’une gentillesse incroyable, ce qui ajoute encore plus au plaisir de l’expérience. J’ai commencé avec la Terrine de campagne au poivre vert et pickles maison : un vrai régal ! La terrine était parfaitement assaisonnée, et les pickles apportaient une touche de fraîcheur très agréable. Ensuite, j’ai choisi la Pièce du boucher (poire), servie avec des pommes grenailles et des légumes grillés (potimarron et betterave). Pour être honnête, je n’aime pas ces légumes d’habitude, mais là, ils étaient cuisinés à la perfection, et j’ai adoré chaque bouchée. La viande, tendre et savoureuse, était un pur bonheur. Et pour finir en beauté : le Moelleux au chocolat de Sao Tomé accompagné d’une glace noisette maison. Que dire ? Un dessert tout simplement divin ! Le moelleux était fondant à souhait, et la glace noisette… une véritable tuerie. Je recommande ce restaurant à 10 000 % ! Même les plus difficiles comme moi y trouveront leur bonheur.

I don’t visit Paris often, but when I do I try to visit la Table des Anges. For me, the best restaurant in Paris. High quality food but in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The owner/chef are very jolly and the whole place has such a lively atmosphere. Of course it’s a restaurant and so food has to take pride of place and it does - great menu and great flavours.

Best dinner we’ve had in Paris — better than a Michelin starred lunch we’d had. I’ve been here twice. Both times I’ve had the scallops (they’re just that good!) The scallops were delicious, the seasonal vegetables were different each time I came, and they go perfectly with the scallops. My husband had the risotto the first time, and then the doe stew the second. He thought the scallops were the best, then the stew was his second favorite. The crème brûlée with cardamom is different but so delicious! The service was great— the older gentleman who appears to be the owner seems so happy and proud and welcoming. Lovely lunch at this cozy bistro at the top of Rue de Martrys. Asparagus tartare with asparagus espuma was delicious, as was the foie gras mi cuit. Next we had a pork rib special the the daube of beef cheeks. Both were delicious. We finished with a little slice of Brillat Savarin with truffle paste. We had a very nice bottle of St Joseph. It's nice to find authentic French bistro style cuisine on the edge of what is the most tacky touristy part of Paris. Friendly and helpful staff who are rightly proud of the standard of cooking and serves a range of traditional French dishes. Menu choice is limited (they do 3-4 dishes very well rather than have a massive selection) but the 40 euro prix fixe is excellent value - make sure you save room for dessert! Possibly the only negative is that it is probably not the best choice for...
