This was by far the worst place I’ve ever eaten, the dishes were composed of only vegetables (besides the desert) and were tasteless, this was supposed to be a “healthy” restaurant but no vegan can sustain by eating this way… the design is nice and the service very good, but we had to pay 60€ for a menu with a main dish composed of only cucumbers, and so we left extremely hungry, a place to avoid by all costs ------- here is my reply to the restaurant's response: I find your response extremely rude and unacceptable. I just found my experience at your restaurant even more disappointing. If you only provide vegetables with no proteins, carbohydrates or other essential micro nutritions, you should state that on the website, as it can be very dangerous for someone who is on a plant-based diet, like myself. After the diner at your restaurant with wine involved, I had massive stomach ache from hunger. It was a special occasion that we went there, as my partner knows I am vegan, and it made me extremely upset that he felt sorry for taking me there, as the food was not sufficient in any way. I just hope you take this review as an opportunity to reflect and improve your food and service, instead of caring more about your google reviews than your customer.

A beautiful little restaurant with a flower shop in front and connected to the hotel. It feels a bit like Japan meets EO nature and Design, which we love. They did a great job and the seating is very comfortable. The food is informed by Mexican food just a bit however hailing from California. It was quite different. Which was great. I very much enjoyed the complex and delicious flavors of my brunch savory dish, which was a corn tortilla with black beans, avocado and salad. It was so good. I was ready to order a second one because it was a small dish size. €17. My companion got the sweet pancakes, which were just OK. I had the turmeric golden milk, which was fine. It could’ve been hotter, but I asked for extra hot water. They ran out of towels at the bathroom for drying your hands and one of the gentlemen, not in the photo was on his phone so much it would’ve been nice. Had there been a little bit more attention to service. We would order the dish I had again for sure. And try to understand it subtle complex flavors. Absolutely fantastic. I hope they build their menu up a little bit more. So happy to have this place and it’s extra lovely with the flower setting in front. The brunch menu is small and I had

Vegan Restaurant in the Hoy Hotel in Paris, France Food*** The food was mediocre. While the presentation was aesthetically pleasing, the taste could have been better, and the portion sizes were on the smaller side. They offer à la carte options, but that seemed excessive for a single meal. We tried the cauliflower steak and the polenta. Atmosphere*** The restaurant is located in the Hoy Hotel, occupying a small yet charming space. It wasn't crowded when we visited, which added to the intimate and cozy feel. Service**** The waiter was very informative and accommodating, making the dining experience pleasant. The service truly stands out as a highlight of the visit. Price$$ The price is quite reasonable, with dishes costing under $15 each. Additional Notes: The restaurant's décor adds to the overall ambiance, with minimalist and modern touches. However, the limited menu options and smaller portion sizes might leave you wanting more. For those who enjoy a peaceful dining environment with excellent service, this place is worth a visit, though the culinary experience may not be the most memorable.

Tucked away from the tourist crowds, Mesa de Hoy delivers an unforgettable dining experience that redefines plant-based cuisine in the heart of Paris, proving that vegetable-forward cooking can be both sophisticated and deeply satisfying. Mesa de Hoy's entirely plant-based menu showcases extraordinary creativity and technical precision. Each dish emerges from the kitchen as a thoughtful creation that celebrates vegetables in their fullest expression. The seasonal focus is evident in every bite, with ingredients that speak of careful sourcing and respectful treatment. The staff at Mesa de Hoy embodies the best of French hospitality while bringing passionate knowledge about plant-based cuisine. The space itself merits appreciation—an elegant yet approachable interior that complements the culinary experience. Thoughtful design elements incorporating natural materials and subtle botanical motifs reinforce the restaurant's plant-focused philosophy without feeling heavy-handed. The careful attention to these environmental details demonstrates Mesa de Hoy's holistic approach to dining. While certainly not inexpensive, Mesa de Hoy offers remarkable value through the quality of experience provided. The tasting menu in particular represents a journey worth every euro—a carefully orchestrated progression of flavours that showcases the kitchen's range and vision while challenging preconceptions about what plant-based cuisine can achieve. Mesa de Hoy stands as compelling evidence that plant-based cuisine belongs at the highest echelons of fine dining—not as an accommodation but as a celebration of culinary possibility. For both committed vegans and curious omnivores, Mesa de Hoy offers a meal that will expand your understanding of what vegetables can become in truly...

I want to preface this by saying the food was absolutely exquisite and the wine was delicious.

Unfortunately the service left quite a bit to be desired. The staff were very nice but there were multiple errors which were quite frustrating.

Our amuse bouche arrived before our water, we had no time at all to order drinks - a process which took a long time itself as nobody came to ask if we wanted drinks, we had to flag down a waiter. Our drinks didn't arrive until just before our starter - the delicious salad with maize and olive bread.

After our salad starter we were then brought our desserts which we questioned - the member of staff who had been serving us all night had no idea what course we were supposed to be on.

We decided to switch to red wine at this point for when our main course finally arrived - the wine itself was delicious but I was a bit surprised that I was asking very basic questions about the wine (grape, region, style) and the young woman serving us was reading the label on the back of the wine bottle.

If I was ordering an obscure wine I would understand, but these were the 2 reds being served by the glass- how can you not know what grape they are? The tasting notes we were given is that one was "fruity" and the other was "nice".

I would politely suggest some training is needed.

Overall these are minor issues in the face of amazing food and drink and a wonderful atmosphere. It's just unfortunate that such glaring errors in service are all we can remember...
