I had high expectations when we chose going to this restaurant after shopping, given its iconic location in the heart of The Bon Marché, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The service, in particular, was quite disappointing.

While placing our order, our server, was more focused on chatting with a neighboring table than paying attention to us. He didn’t even make eye contact during our interaction. To make matters worse, he was forgetful and unresponsive. We had to repeatedly ask for water, which eventually arrived after a long wait, and the coffee we ordered was completely forgotten.

The server mentioned we wouldn’t be charged for the coffee due to the long delay, which we appreciated. However, when we received the bill, the coffee was still listed. When we pointed this out, he insisted it couldn’t be removed from the bill, despite what he had promised earlier. While paying for the coffee wasn’t an issue for us, it’s the principle of making a promise and not following through that left a bad impression.

Overall, the service was mediocre, especially for a restaurant in such a renowned location. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary...

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! DONT GO THERE DURING BRUNCH TIME. My friend and i visited la table on Dec 28th to have a brunch. At that time the palce was not busy at all and A WOMAN WITH BANG HAIR worked only. At the entrance, i told in English "two people please" but the woman with bang hair spoke back in French as if it is okay of us to sit anywhere. (Still now i dont understand why she spoke back in french. Her face seems so bored but i never minded) So i sat down. From that moment she was So RUDE for us. She put menu and foods as if she play tennis balls. I hope the plate were broken because she put it on the table so uncarefully. I could feel she ignored us.

I wish i knew her name so i can write her name on. I think she has some personal issue or something. I dont blame other staffs of la table because without her the overrall staffs seems to be fine. (After 12pm, other staffs started to work and their service seems so nice)

I love bon marche and paris. But i wont go to la table because of her. I think she'd better find another job except restaurant server. If you are a...

Out of all the restaurants we visited during our 2 weeks in paris, this was the only place where we felt unwelcomed. As others have said, service was slow and rude, but our server was also racist.

The table next to us was seated 5 mins after we were, however, they were native French speakers and their orders were taken first. Subsequently , they received their food first while we were delayed significantly- they received their bills before we received our mains despite ordering the same dishes!

When we asked to expedite , we were ignored. We noticed our server was similarly ignoring other tables who were visible minorities, one of which really laid into her in French.

This is was an expensive meal, even if service was good, not worth the EUR 80 spent on two. 100% do not recommend- goto the bakery on the ground floor, grab two...

Situated within Le Bon Marche (market side) with a glass canopy — it had a nice ambience, very much like dining in a greenhouse. I had the special of the day; slow-roasted pork belly which was very tender and flavourful. It was cooked to perfection. I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it but it was delicious enough to do so. Niçoise salad was very good too — generous and fresh. So was their bread + butter (have to request). Complimentary madeleines that came with my coffee was fantastic! Made in-house daily. Service was prompt and attentive (unlike other earlier reviews). The restaurant was full and had a queue. Seemed like a popular dining spot even for locals, besides throngs of tourists.

La Table is a stylish restaurant set within the glass atrium of a renowned food hall, offering creative French cuisine in a chic yet inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a bite after a day of exploring Le Bon Marché. The food is consistently delicious, the service warm and attentive, and the setting effortlessly elegant. Whether you’re in the mood for a light snack or a leisurely meal, this spot is well worth a visit.

Very good location in the city centre. The food is fresh, delicious and modern. The service good be better, well very very basic. Also, they a big line. Make sure that there no big company waiting before you - they don’t hurry to fill the available free tables for 2, if they have 4 people waiting first. 😛 No plant based milk options for coffee, a big minus nowadays.
