The experience of eating with your hands makes you feel a bit uncomfortable in the first 3min, but when you let go it creates a bond between you and the meal itself.
The menu is filled with typical Ethiopian dishes, which are full of spices! (no it doesn’t mean that they are spicy, just very flavorful!) Each dish consists of two Injeras (Ethiopian/ Somalian traditional sourdough “crepe” out of teff flour). The toppings are placed on top of one of them, while the other one can or should be torn into pieces and used to grab the toppings with.
Since I had 3/4th of my second “crepe” left, I asked if I can take it with me and they added additional filling to it! That was great!
