Le Bab (Bar A Brioches) is a true hidden gem that enchants with its delectable treats. On a quest to sample their renowned brioche, I found myself drawn in by the irresistible display of pastries, unable to resist the temptation. The knowledgeable sales lady recommended their signature Babka du moment, alongside a cinnamon roll and the enticing Babka fleur d'oranger. The highlight of my visit was undeniably the cinnamon roll. Served slightly heated, it melted in my mouth, revealing a perfect combination of lightness and fluffiness. Each bite was a revelation, with the delicate aroma of cinnamon infusing every crumb. While I am not an expert on Babka, I personally thought they could benefit from a touch more moisture. However I must say that the flavors and attention to detail were commendable. Prepare to be transported to a world of heavenly flavors and a true celebration of the brioche art form. Without a doubt, Le Bab deserves a spot on any food enthusiast's tour...

Found out about this place through Too Good to Go (app against food waste). I ordered a Panier Gourmet surprise box €5,99 (food value of €18). They also offer a normal surprise box with dynamic pricing starting at €5,99 for a value of €12. I was given 5 Buns: Hazelnut Chocolate 2 Goat Cheese Walnut Spinach? (only one I didn't go crazy for) Pesto The recommendation to warm them up in the microwave for 20s is key, because if not they are slightly dry and definitely not as enjoyable, so not really a pack lunch snack, but rather a warm up and eat as you leave the house. All in all they were not bad, my brioche dough is richer and softer, just personally i don't see the need to...

Got some brioches to-go and ate them at home over two days. The lady at the store told me to microwave them for a few seconds before eating and it was almost like they were fresh from the oven 👌🏼 Tried some sweet and savoury brioches. They all tasted great and the consistency was just what I would expect from a brioche. I wouldn't have minded a bit more filling inside because it was mainly on the top but overall good value for money (~3.50€ per brioche). Love the concept and would love to try more flavours!
