Avoid like plague! Literally the worst place I have been to, the older guy there was so extremely rude that it had ruined our whole trip to this lovely city. We were 2 families with 2 small kids, went in, asked for a baby chair, he gave it to us reluctantly, and we all said thank you and been sitting there waiting since. This guy who clearly didn't like us from the beginning was looking at us in such disdainful way the entire time and didn't seem to like our prams blocking one of the lanes either, but instead of telling us where to put them which we would have gladly comply to, he just decided to hate on us and even went as far as to tell the ladies next to us in French how horrible we are as Chinese and assuming we didn't understand. We complained to the manager who was very nice but didn't really do anything about the situation. The funny thing was that when we called out to the people that the guy was racist, even the lady who he was talking to earlier was nodding her head as well in agreement to us, so whoever you are I sincerely thank you for that. Needless to say we then proceeded to leave without ordering.
Reply to the owner comment below: unacceptable and discriminatory?! what was truly unacceptable and discriminatory was how your staff treated us! Also please read my review thoroughly. It was not a boy but an old man who you clearly have close relationship with. I am not sure if you are the lady manager there but if you are and from the fact that you didn't do anything about the situation when it happened clearly indicated that you preferred to cover your men than take the correct action. Or perhaps simply put, you are all the same kind of people. If you had simply accepted your wrongdoing and apologized here I would have gladly accepted it and ended it here. But now I have reported this also on various social platforms and also to Défenseur des droits. You can not win this because it is YOU who need to be responsible for your own action and you cannot right what is...
Read moreAn Exquisite Parisian Moment at Boissy d’Anglas
Dining at Boissy d’Anglas is not merely a meal—it’s a refined encounter with the Parisian art de vivre. Nestled in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, this elegant restaurant offers an oasis of charm, taste, and impeccable service.
From the very first course, each dish was a testament to French culinary excellence. The Terrine Gilles Véro arrived as a beautifully composed homage to traditional charcuterie—delicate, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. It was perfectly complemented by the Avocat Crevettes, a refreshing and beautifully balanced dish that brought the essence of the sea to the table with finesse.
The Moules Gratinées were simply divine—generously portioned, bubbling from the oven, and laced with a rich gratin that evoked both comfort and luxury. To pair, a 30cl pour of Chablis brought crisp minerality and depth, enhancing every bite with its classic Burgundian profile.
Hydration was elevated with a chilled 75cl bottle of sparkling water, and the meal concluded on a sophisticated note with a velvety, ice-cold Café Frappé—the perfect finale to a sunlit afternoon in Paris.
Every element—from the culinary selections to the attentive yet unintrusive service—contributed to a moment that felt both indulgent and effortlessly Parisian. Whether you are a frequent visitor to the city or discovering its magic for the first time, Boissy d’Anglas is a must for those who appreciate authenticity, elegance, and an unforgettable...
我们当时感到非常紧张和不安,直到我们表示要“Call the police”,他们才慌张退开,说“No no no”。

During our meal at this restaurant, each of us ordered different dishes and desserts, including a main course. However, the waiter only provided cutlery to two people at our table and completely ignored the third person throughout the meal. Despite our attempts to get his attention through eye contact and hand gestures, he intentionally avoided looking at our table and served every other table instead. Eventually, we had to say “excuse me” to get any attention.
What made us more uncomfortable was that although we ordered mains, we were not served the complimentary baguette that other tables received. When we asked, the waiter pretended not to understand English—though he communicated just fine with other white English-speaking customers. It felt like he was implying that we had language issues, but we are international students in the UK with fluent English. No one else has ever had trouble understanding us.
He kept saying the bread would only be served after the starter, yet we saw several other tables receiving it before their starters. This experience felt disrespectful and discriminatory. It left a very negative impression.
What truly shocked us was what happened after we paid and left a Google review. The female manager, along with two men and the same waiter, cornered us outside the restroom, speaking loudly in French and refusing to let us leave. We felt intimidated and deeply uncomfortable. Only after we said “Call the police” did they back off and say “No no no.” This was no longer just bad service—it was harassment. We felt unsafe and strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
