The food and ambiance were fantastic as the first time I went. We split the belota ham as an appetizer, which was top quality. My boyfriend had the fish, and myself the lamb. Both were delicious, although I had to ask for more sauce. They hardly put any sauce on the dish, and it would have been too dry otherwise. But with the sauce, perfect. Full of flavor, nice textures. For dessert, we split the almond crisp with vanilla mousse. It was light yet flavorful. My only two complaints would be the limited dessert menu (basically only one choice other than fruit and madeleines 3 different ways) and the cocktails. My boyfriend's mai tai was almost good, but too fruity and missing the dark rum float. A mai tai shouldn't be perfectly orange! My vieux carrĂ© not only took 10 min longer to come out after his drink (they didn't seem to know what the drink was even though it was on the menu), but the bartender went way too heavy on the bitters, which completely overpowered the other spirits. He also seemingly did not shake or stir the cocktail, so it was not cold and not well integrated. At 14€/cocktail and in a place like Le Camondo, I expected the cocktails to be on point as the food. I guess we'll stick to wine next time.

Exceptionnel !

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very chic and modern. They have a nice open area, which houses the main room and a lovely garden terrace in the back. They also have certain spaces inside with couches for groups of around 8 people. The food was amazing - I ordered the duck (magret de canard) and it was cooked to perfection. It came with mashed potatoes and cooked figs. One of the best duck meals I've had in Paris. The desserts (from Michalak) were delicious! Minus one star because it is on the expensive side and they did not bring us the bill when we asked - we had to go up and pay.

All we can say is, wow! If you are looking for a magical setting for a dinner (particularly in fair weather) then this is a delightful spot.

First, the service was so friendly and ever-present — they deserve high marks.

Next, the food was absolutely “correct” and beautifully presented.

But it’s the ability to dine next to the Camondo Museum and in such an elegant yet not fussy setting that made this meal stand out.

Personally I loved the location — it’s in a beautiful, posh neighborhood (not the central business district) so you feel a bit transported from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

The crowd was elegant — looked like a lot of post-work professionals having dinner with colleagues or maybe on dates. Lots of people dining in pairs and some large group tables. The mix worked!

When I see its Google rating, I don’t know why it’s not higher. Places with far fewer positive attributes have much higher ratings.

I will...
