Original ramen with the taste of sea. They have brought a different level to the pork bone broth ramen with fish flavor (I believe it was real fish bone broth), and the other with oyster flavor. I didn’t know they would go so well together! So basically you would find your bowl with three different sources from the land and the sea. I found that mix very interesting and well blended! That definitely gave an extra depth to the generally one note pork bone broth. By 5 stars I usually mean 4,5 or 4,7 out of 5 but for Umi Ramen my 5 stars rating is a real well deserved 5 after trying a lot of ramens in Paris and the ramen at Umi comes up on top. I had the Tantanmen and it is very tasty and fills you up just what you'd want. Nice thing is also you can choose whether you want a porc broth or chicken. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. We had to wait a little bit for the food but the atmosphere is quite cozy to enjoy the wait with a nice cold japanese beer pint for 6,50 €, and the staff ks great, kind and very thoughtful.
