Without us asking the bill, the waiter asked us to pay and leave because we have a baby stroller and we’re occupying space “only for coffee” (even though the surrounding tables were all empty and we were not occupying any more space than our table and the stroller itself) - incredible treatment! People with babies and children, don’t ever go to this place.. Rude waiter & rude owner (it’s very standard in Paris but this one is incredibly bad)

Answer to the anxious owner of the store: We usually prefer higher class restaurants and avoid cheap alternatives like yours and I must admit that it was our mistake to visit for a coffee your “tabac” quality “brasserie” Frankly your few unfortunate customers (yes there were only several) were clearly shocked to witness the mistreatment and uncivilised behavior you and your amateur waiter displayed towards a young couple with a baby (so your comments of customers applauding you etc is not quite realistic, sorry). I hope at least this comment of mine would be a good lesson to you to how not to treat your future clients (if you could find any - given the empty tables on a saturday afternoon, you need a bit of luck). To conclude, I gave a bad rating to the cuisine because the coffee were dreadful, to...

Burger was raw, service was poor.

Let’s start with getting my order wrong, I asked for a cheeseburger, but a Bagel came out with salmon and cream cheese. My wife got her meal.

I waited for the cheeseburger, I was never asked how I would like it cooked, it came out raw. I can eat most things but a raw burger is not one of them.

This year I’ve been to Paris twice, Nice and Lyon, eating at many restaurants, I know the difference between a burger and Tartare as the waiter questioned my knowledge and said it’s like Tartare. I didn’t ask for Tartare, I asked for a burger.

He asked if I wanted it replaced, at this point I said no, but was going to get another drink but he rushed off and got the bill, I did not ask for the bill and thought this was rude.

He then came with a dessert something I declined previously offering it to my wife. This was declined, I understand he was trying to put things right but he just needed to listen.

This waiter needed to listen and he needed to slow down, if he had listened he would have got my order correct in the...

Awful service, rude waiters who were incredibly unhelpful when we asked to move tables because we were too hot in the greenhouse window, to which they took the food away and brought it back cold rather than just bringing it across to the new table. Shame as seemed a nice restaurant.

In response to the restaurant response - that is not what happened at all, we were in the process of moving when the food arrived, when we told the waiter he was very unhelpful and took the food away, bringing it back later cold, he tried to tell me we couldn't move - hardly good customer service. Avoid

*Edit 2: Again not what happened, there's a theme here. We asked our initial waiter if we could move to the table next to us to which he said no because it was intended for 4 people, we then asked if we could go to another table by the window for 2 people and he said yes, so we then proceeded to move. Perhaps you should check with your staff for a full account, during which maybe you could see why the food...

Goods: - The location is wonderful, being able to oversee the Seine and the interior is also comfortable and elegant. - The duck confit was nicely seasoned, albeit a little dry; the potatoes that come as a side are fried perfectly and very tasty. The meal also comes in a very filling portion, I was unable to finish them by myself. Bads: - They have missed my order for dessert; I waited for over an hour & reminded them, but it still didn't come and I ultimately decided to pay and go. When I checked the tab, it seemed that no one had ever added the dessert to my order...? - The waiter kept on ignoring me, I had to ask for the check three times before someone finally gave it to me.

Perfect little restaurant near the Sainte Chapelle, we got the appetizer + main course and the mc + dessert combos and for a low price we ate like kings. All the food managed to be extremely tasty while somehow not being too rich and making you nauseous by the end of the dish, which for a mushroom based sauce is a great accomplishment. The meat was tender and juicy, the pasta was perfectly cooked (and this is coming from an Italian, fresh pasta is really hard to not overcook) And to finish things, the Crème Caramel was amazing as well, it had a harder consistency than what you usually find around, truer to the original recipe, and again it was sweet without being overwhelming.

Duck was good and their steak was a bit chewy. I would recommend go with anything but that steak thing. The staff is nice and friendly. The restaurant is obviously a bit on expensive side because of its location but overall its a nice place to come and have a bite. The staff speaks English so it's easier to order and the we loved the snails and their Onion soup was pretty good specially the upper part with cheese and bread. Side window was cracked so were feeling pretty cold inside as there was cold air coming from the taped part of side window. We were tired so just didn't do much about it and wore our coats to keep ourselves warm.
