This was my first time visiting France. I am visiting France to support my daughter who is currently playing the French Open. I just had dinner at this restaurant and ordered a chicken Caesar salad. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad without knowing that Europeans put anchovies in their Caesar salad or in the Caesar dressing, unlike the states where it is uncommon. Plus, menu description did not mention anchovies in the salad nor the dressing. After literally taking one bite, I tasted fish. I immediately called the waiter and explained to him that I cannot eat the fish. After going back and forth for a moment, the waiter went to get the manager. They took the salad away and asked if I wanted to order something else. I ordered the grilled chicken and fries instead. After eating, the waiter brought the check with the Caesar salad still on it and refused to take it off. In fact, for some reason they sent the chef out to pretty much tell me that he needs to get a manager to remove the charge. The chef retrieved another waiter who told me that he doesn’t have the authority to remove the charge and that a manager was not there, which was a lie because the manager wearing a striped, collared shirt is the guy who took the salad away and asked if I wanted to order something else. He was literally outside mingling with the customers who were seated outside. I guess he was too cowardly to address the situation. The staff still refused to remove the salad. The food is not that good. I’m pretty sure it attracts customers due to the atmosphere, because there not a lot people eating. Instead, the many patrons they had were sitting outside drinking and smoking. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Horrible...

Usually I don't write any critic reviews, so I hope this finds you well. I went here last year, and loved the service and the food. So TODAY I brought my friend with me, because I wanted to show this place.

To clarify, we're asians. And when we went in, the reception was a nice lady so I was happy. Once sat down, an intense white blue eye lady came as a server. I'm from America so it's not like I wasn't clear on speaking, but she kept speaking in French(which is ok I studied the basic 4year at Uni.)

And she gave us a French menu(this is important) We ordered food, I ordered a steak etc. She asked me in French something, I assume it was how I wanted it to be cooked. So I said, medium rare. But I guess she didn't want to hear "medium rare" instead she kept saying "red". So I just said "yes please"

And after we started eating, right next to us came an elderly ENGLISH couple. Immediately she asked them if they want the ENGLISH MENU. I felt ??? they have one??

But just let it go. And hearing because they're right next to us, she keeps speaking ENGLISH to them. I'm just surprised the audacity of this lady that was older than us just cannot do their JOB properly. We're not asking for them to praise us like god or anything.

Just want to ask Is it fun? Was it fun for you to treat people like that? I hope some day you find yourself treated so kindly in Japan that you look at yourself ASHAMED.

BTW I went around 12:30-13:30 January 27. If I'm EVER going back, will DEFINITELY bring a FRENCH...

It's my first time in Paris and I came to this place to grab coffee and I truly enjoyed.

The decoration is cozy and beautiful

Service is very good and the waitress was very nice and cheerful. We didn't wait much to order neither to get our orders served

Food : a very tasty cheesecake I highly recommend it, I had café latte and it was nice and my friend got black coffee and it was on point.

The toilet here is different from any place I've tried before. Try to check it out when you're here 😁

I came back again to this beautiful place same day for dinner and it was worth it.

Service is amazing and I didn't expect less.

At night they light up candles which makes the atmosphere more cozy romantic and relaxing.

I had gnocchi and it was very tasty, the butternut sauce was really delicious.

My friends had different dishes that will share pictures of, i had a bite of each and I wasn't disappointed at all.

Thank you Nelson's for making my culinary experience in...

The experience here was disappointing primarily because we were seated then ignored for a long time and no one came to assist, check in or take our order. And that was the theme throughout our visit here. A very pleasant gentleman sat us & then disappeared. After 25 mins of waiting we flagged him down to ask if our waiter would be coming soon & he told us he’d come assist, which he did. But again after placing our order with him, there were no other check ins on if we wanted water, dessert, nothing. The food was well flavored and you can expect to inhale lots of cigarette smoke from folks sitting outside which we absolutely hated but seemed to be the running theme in France. Ambiance is rustic and the bathroom rinsing areas need instructions posted on how to use cause it’s confusing working the sinks. If service was better we would’ve returned. We ordered the whole fish, the veggie truffle pasta, and fried mushroom as a side.
