The first time I came here was in October 2024. I spent a week in Paris as a healthy gift to myself for my birthday. Théo was my server, and the experience I had with his service and assistance made me want to return. I am currently finishing a 2 week vacation in France, and during the entire time, I was looking forward to having another experience here (so much so I can remember the name of my previous server). Axel (I hope I’m spelling this correctly) gave me a very similar experience, and I am beyond grateful I have patronized this restaurant twice, and am very enthusiastic to do it again.
The food has a healthy balance of bountiful flavor with a delicate lightness that makes me smile. The cocktails are an alchemical, creative phenomenon, the musical talent puts you at ease to appreciate such a carefully crafted atmosphere. The staff takes you as you are; whether you traveled thousands of miles or spent the day working your 9-5, they respect the individual personhood of each patron. This very much may be my favorite place to reflect on the ever-continuing endeavor of learning and applying myself in the French world. For every turn of the nose you may receive from a Parisien across the city, your server will make you feel comfortable in a place far from home.
Forever Le Speakeasy, and thank you again for giving me a reason to come...
Read moreThis spot came highly recommended by a friend who couldn’t stop raving about it—and now I totally understand why! Le Speakeasy is a true gem in Paris nightlife, blending elegance, live music, and a festive vibe all in one unforgettable experience.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone—dimly lit, cozy, and intimate with just the right touch of glamour.
The live music started off with some slower tunes, which had us wondering if it would be a mellow night—but as the evening progressed, the performers brought the house down. Their talent was incredible—they sang their hearts out and had the entire place up on their feet dancing and singing along. It turned into such a fun, lively night!
The cocktail and wine selection was excellent, and while we didn’t order a full meal since we were still full from lunch, we did try the tempura shrimp appetizer and a dessert—both of which were absolutely delicious. I’m already planning to return with more of an appetite, because everything on the menu looked amazing.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy night out in Paris with fantastic live music, great drinks, and an upscale vibe—Le Speakeasy is the place to be. Just be sure to make a reservation, as it’s clearly a popular spot for...

Clearly anyone that speaks English is not welcome here. I find this pretty ridiculous given the strength of the US dollar right now, but apparently money coming from Americans is not wanted either. That's fine, I will happily spend my money somewhere else, where the service and drinks are better and I don't have to deal with rude disgusting goons MANHANDLING WOMEN. Oh yes, the bouncer grabbed and shoved a nicely dressed American woman when she didn't understand the French they were barking at her. I find this to be completely unacceptable and despicable behavior, but I guess this is the Le Speakeasy way. So if you want to spend your hard earned money to support women being assaulted by thugs so that you can listen to old tired music and sip on overpriced crappy drinks then this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you want be treated well with amazing service and top notch crafted drinks, then go to The Pennisula. It's a five minute walk from this trashy, wanna-be nightclub and for the same price you get an amazing rooftop bar with 5 star treatment and beautiful views.
To sum it up, Le Speakeasy=Trashy (goons...
