So we’ve bought a groupon - brunch for 2 with half a bottle of wine. The problems start at the moment of reservation (rude scammy service). The offer had to include a selection of cheese and ham, tomato bread, chicken skewer etc. The waiter comes and ask if we like garlic bread. Sure, we like! he then says - it’s extra. No tomato bread was given either. then he asks what we will drink. We remind him that the offer already has wine included. They bring wine - and you won’t believe it - we understand that the bottle was opened before and it was refilled with some cheap wine instead. Then they bring tomatoes, grated carrots and mushrooms. Mushrooms were rotten, so we couldn’t eat them. When we pointed this out, the server wasn’t even surprised. We actually love vegetables, but it would be hard to get full with the quantity of food given. Since they didn’t give us promised in the offer tomato bread, we asked for a baguette which is free in France as well as tap water by the law. We finished it with that strange wine and got a bit full for the day. No cheese and ham, only burned chorizo, but it’s not really a chorizo, it’s something similar but of a very low quality. When I said I didn’t like the chorizo as a gesture they brought a new plate, it was different but still disgusting. Such a shame. Owners seem bitter and unwelcoming. We were observing the owner pushing the tourists for drinks (no drink menu, so they all will have a big nice surprise in the bill) around us. Such a terrible place. The owner does not understand that what he does is a road leading to more financial problems, losing customers, poor reviews… This attitude is a spiral going down. A prosperous place start from good food and service, not with a scam. The food they serve is good for stray dogs probably, I wouldn’t give...

I called to ask what time was open on Sunday and if I could use several Wonderbox tickets (3 tickets total of 80 EURO cost). They guy in the restaurant said yes, I could use the tickets and provide the time to go as they close 2.30 pm Sundays. I took a train (30 kms). When I arrived the guy in the restaurant said I CAN´T use them on weekends.... I was a bit lost because I swore not to see any restriction, so I left... then I checked the website on phoone and NOTHING was mentioned about the restriction on weekends with those Wonderbox tickets so I called the restaurant and the man, this time annoyed, said now the machine didn´t work. Scam, the owner is really shady.He will change the price of a dish as he pleases. I went there with 30% discount offer from The fork. At arrival he said that not every dish was included in the promotion. We then decided to other 1 starter (8€) and 2 mains (20€ and 15€) from what he said was included in the offer. When ordering he said that the fish dish that was 20€ in the menu was actually 26€… we decided to order it anyway. When we received the check… surprise, the 15€ was charged like a 10€ starter + 20€ main dish… when asked why the owner said he served us a bigger portion so he couldn’t keep the 15€. That not to mention that the sangria we ordered was not in the menu, so he simply charged us 25€ for a jar. Not worth the trouble, you can find better places in paris for the price with more...
