I used to enjoy coming here but the experience I had today was extremely upsetting and so I will not be returning. I was working in the indoor space to avoid the heavy smoking on the terrace, and between 6 and 6:30pm the music kept getting louder and louder until it reached 72db (I measured.) I tried several times to get the attention of the waiter to ask that it be turned down. When he finally came to my table, his only response was ‘c’est l’heure de l’apero.’ It’s important to note that inside there was only myself, one older lady (late 70´s or early 80´s) and a family with small children. Everyone was bothered by the music. When i asked again he gave the same dismissive response, so i closed my computer and said i was leaving. I waited several more minutes but he stood in the doorway intentionally ignoring me, and did not bring a check. Finally I left cash on the table (more than the cost of my drink), packed up and went to leave and the man physically blocked me from the door. It was an extremely agressive move and I found it inappropriate. He refused to talk to me and only moved out of my way when the other staff member confirmed that I had left money on the table. The whole staff acted as if this was normal. I’m sad to see the level of service and concern for clients so degraded this year! It’s as if they think everyone who comes there is a tourist and can be treated like trash… even though there are plenty of locals who could become frequent customers. I also work with tourists and organize events but will no longer recommend this establishment for...

We went to this restaurant knowing it was a tourist hotspot, as we were very hungry and it was one of the places en route to our hotel with more than 1-2 vegetarian options.
We got the margarita pizza which is more like flatbread, as it’s shaped like rectangle and veggie burger.
The food is ok, but the service is awful. They accidentally got me burger with bacon which has to be sent back. The server ( with strong alcohol and cigarettes breath) just brought us water without asking , which was 7.50 euros. Our meal cost us 49 euros and the waiter said there is a flat 10 euro “tax” totalling up the bill to 59 euros. When I questioned this further and did my own math, he changed jt and it’s a service charge and then changed it again to say it’s actually a tip which can be 5 or 10 Euros or however much I want. That is just beyond pathetic behaviour, trying to scam people for tips and mislabeling it as a tax or a charge which is my mind is a mandatory fee not a voluntary one. I still tipped standard 10% which was 5 euros and comesurate of the quality of food and service, and understanding the role of tips...
Read moreThe Worst Possible Experience in Paris On 14 July 2022 We stopped at this Cafè in Paris, the Cafe Paris London (@cafeParisLondon #cafeParisLondon) And the owner was yelling so loud to a Woman in her 35-40's who was accompanied by a 10-11 year old girl. He was yelling so loud in front of everybody telling the lady and child that "this is my house - in French - and you get out of here". He did not stop yelling and the lady complaint but in the end, she had all the odds against her since nobody did anything, the owner was escorted by two other men...she had to leave the premises. I complaint to the owner with disgust repeating the Word "educación" (education) to him many times and his response was to approach our table and remove what we were drinking and asked us to go. I responded that I was leaving when my Uber got there (10 minutes later)...How disgusting, disappointing and scary situación to live in the "City of Love". Shame on the owner of that restaurant. Will never visit that place again and hopefully we will unite to boycot the owner of a restaurant who treats a client or anybody that...
