When I first arrived at the restaurant and sat down, the first thing I noticed was that the chair was completely covered in crumbs. Additionally, as seen in the pictures, the chairs were extremely dirty and not suitable for a place where food is served. They could have been quickly cleaned with a carpet cleaner, but it’s clear they haven’t been cleaned for years, which is quite disgusting. My bigger disappointment, however, was the food. The dish I ordered, called "Chef's Plate," cost exactly 26 Euros, but all I received was some cheap pastry and two small skewers of meat. No fresh bread was served to accompany the appetizers. I reluctantly ate the appetizers, which didn’t go well with the stale, sweet Moroccan bread, just to fill my stomach.
The service was friendly and smooth. However, despite us being a group of six and continuously ordering, the table was being cleared before we had even finished eating. My plate was taken while there was still food on it, and the waiter asked if I had finished eating while holding my plate. My wife’s plate was cleared while she still had her fork in her mouth. The table was completely cleared even though one of us was still eating. Since there was no bread on the table and the waiter was waiting to take the plate, it was impossible to continue eating.
On a positive note, those of us who chose the tajine dish were very satisfied with it. Regarding the tea, which is already a common part of Moroccan culture, it was served in a pitcher, but we were still charged per person. I would have preferred if they had set a pitcher price for those who wanted to drink more. In the end, we paid around 40 Euros for tea for six people, with each tea costing 3.5 Euros. For me, the price, service quality, and the food offered did not match my...
Read more1- First of all, as a Lebanese, it's a disaster to call and label this food 'Lebanese'. Nor the presentation, the taste or the method is Lebanese. Taboulé is not the right taboulé, nor the hommus, the tawouk, kafta. All This is ruining lebanese food heritage, this should be illegal. Call it whatever you want but not Lebanese. Either bring a lebanese chef, learn the right way to do and present the plates or don't mark on your restaurant the term 'lebanese'.
2- service is unprofessional and bad. Should call the waiter every while to remind them to bring/remove plates/culteries, and sometimes the waiters leaves us without spoon or fork on the table
3- they made mistake in all our order and made us wait several time, and after a lot of explanation, they finally brought the right order
4- moroccan food isn't bad, nothing to say about it
But its all about the Lebanese food and the...
Read moreThis place is OK but nothing special in terms of service, food, price, or ambience. I ordered the tagine with chicken and olives. It came out pretty quickly so I know it was partially cooked already, you can't cook chicken in ten minutes. And it came out of the kitchen in a tagine but really what's the point of a tagine if that's not really where it's cooked? It's so hot that you can't eat it for a while when it gets to your table. Hardly much seasoning, nothing particularly good or flavorful. This food needs more flavor, and some variety in texture. The location is kind of cool in the passage, but there's only one table outside the restaurant so once you're inside, the ambience of being inside the passage is all gone. Seems to be entirely run by two people, so service is not really attentive when it's busy. The next time I want couscous, I will skip this place and look for...
