Just visited today for the first time and it looks very lovely with great selection...however as I'm not fluent in French I kindly requested if attending lady could explain what type of flour small breads are made of (priced at 2.50) it was clear that she wasn't able to speak that much English - which is not a problem for me, so I stood aside and just googled and made my choice and purchased... The issue began right after as I suggested to the attending lady that it might be useful to have a small description in English for foreigners like me to have next to that selection as I have allergies and food intolerances - that's when that lady became dismissive and rude to me saying "No we don't do that" with a very straight face and no smile, then looked to the next customer to attend. Whole behaviour towards me was just rude, so I asked for the manager as I have to complain - it's not right to treat a customer with allergies this way!.. Anyhow, if management cares at all that the front of the shop staff can treat customers like that, here are the details - I visited your shop on 4th of January at 12pm noon. I'm not just a visitor of Paris either, I live here and literally around the corner of the shop. I genuinely thought that this Boulangery is the closest to my apartment so would be my favourite on a daily basis to buy bread... However with customer service towards people with allergies arrogant and dismissive like that - it's not going to be my place to shop daily....
Read moreMet with a big smile and very friendly service even though I can't speak very much French. There was a beautifully presented selection of treats at an excellent price (not cheap, but nowhere near as dear as most other places on main streets). I got a giant raspberry macaron with a really light filling which was amazzzing, and a choc mousse tart definitely worthy of some kind of award- never had such melt in the mouth pastry before! Also bought a chicken pizza for about €7 for the evening, which was outstanding.
The cappuccino deserves its own paragraph, it was a tiny cup of pure delight 🥰 With slight hints of luxury dark chocolate and an insane velvety smooth consistency that made it worthy of a much higher price tag!! (Amazingly, it was just over €2. I wish I'd bought more than one!) I thoroughly enjoyed it as I viewed the Arc de Triomphe which is only a few mins walk.
The treats I bought (photographed) were put in a box which was very handy- somehow they both made it through the crowds (and a few hours of walking) back to my airbnb in one piece.
If I ever come back to Paris, I'll make it my mission to book accommodation as near to this place...
Read moreI had a thuna wrap that was made with cheap food but the main reason of the two stars is because of the two employees girls. There is a bench inside for people who wants to eat there with some dressing and napkins on it, but I asked anyway if I could eat inside, and just standing cause there are't chairs or stools. One of the girls didn't know what to say and asked the other one told me that I couldn't eat inside because it could get pretty crowded at lunch time. It was 12:30 and I was the only guest inside...can you believe it??? I don't recommend this place, low quality food and...
