Initially, I hesitated to leave a review as my experience at this place was disastrous. However, after receiving multiple reminders via email, I've decided to share my encounter. I dined alone last December, and I unequivocally DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment to anyone.
Firstly, I felt severely discriminated against. Bread wasn't served at my table, and I initially thought it was because I was dining alone. However, another solo diner, a Korean gentleman seated near me, had a plate of bread. If it were just about the bread, I might have overlooked it. Throughout the entire lunch, a middle-aged Korean waitress repeatedly checked on the solo Korean gentleman, ensuring everything was satisfactory. Not once did she check on me, and other tables with group customers were attended to by a different waiter. I felt entirely abandoned and discriminated against as a customer.
Secondly, the food was subpar. The French onion soup, as shown, was the worst I've ever had. When the main dish arrived, I thought it was a joke. The small portion of beef had a predominant flavor of ssam-jang (Korean bean paste), readily available at any regular store. It lacked uniqueness, something easily replicable at home. The side, mainly a bland flour wrap, was unimpressive. The only redeeming factor was the paste on the top left, but overall, it wasn't enough to save the experience. While the dessert was satisfactory, considering you're in Paris, you can find desserts of similar quality almost anywhere.
In short, I would strongly discourage anyone from choosing this place. Please acknowledge that females are also humans and customers. Within this price range, you could have far superior culinary...
Read moreI’d rate this restaurant 4.5/5 and strongly recommend you to test it! We went to have dinner and had the 6 courses meal (69€ per person). We had a bottle of wine as well. It’s a French semi-gastronomic restaurant but the chef is Korean which makes it more interesting with the Korean touches and flavors in every plate. 1- we started with a plate of salmon that was super well marinated - you can feel the quality and work ! 2- we had cooked foie gras with porcini mushrooms - the dose was enough but really tasteful (I am Not a big fan of cooked foie gras) 3- we got the shrimps kadaif : this was super super good ! 4 - we had fish plate: white fish in a bowl of noodles and veggies with a magnificent broth + scallops that were cooked to perfection. Here you feel the fusion with Korean taste - this plate was the best (I still feel it’s taste haha) 5- meat dish: we had duck and lamb and the combination works perfectly! 6- we ended the experience with an airy desert. Tasteful peaches (poached maybe) and cream with an almond sort of craquelin. Staff was friendly and...
Read moreGreat hidden find in the 15e; we tried the Carte Blanche menu which offered 3 starters, 2 mains and a dessert chosen by the chef which for the culinary experience was worth every euros.
Regarding the food, the range of dishes were exceptional with both staff and chef tailoring tomour dietary requirements. The mix of French and Korean cuisine truly shines on some plate more than others thus why I suggest trying the Carte Blanche menu to experience unexpected dishes. Wine recommeded for that menu was a light, fruity white wine from the Loire region but the staff were very helpful in helping select it.
The house apertif was a great mysterious addition as well with an unknown Korean liquor mixed to white wine, truly an unexpected surprise.
Photos don’t do this place justice, especially as the menu keeps rotating with local in season products; I would say just trust what is being recommended and served to you on the night.
And lastly a big thank you to the chef who was clearly bery attentive and caring of all his customers...
