The LV Cafe is awesome and tied into the LV exhibit, the experience if you’re able to get reservations, is a must when visiting Paris.
Food - The offer assorted (including limited alcohol) beverages, pastries, desserts, and light brunch/dinner meals. We tried an assortment of desserts (Fraisier, Entremets Vanille), latte, Wine, Pink Lemonade, etc.
Atmosphere - Very laid back like a lounge with some floor seating and some window seating in a garden type vibe. The cafe is separated from the LV merchandise exhibits and the chocolate exhibition where they sell various LV themed chocolates sits just outside the cafe. Everything is LV themed down to the desserts.
Service - We rated 1 star only for the assistance the Manager provided. Our waiter, JNOEL was horrendous! Besides taking our order, she never came back to our table to check on us. Why is this important? Because we didn’t receive everything we ordered, and she never followed up to make sure we got everything. Now she was observed helping others clean their tables, on her cell phone, coming right next to our table to orders as well as check on other guests, but never stepped back to our table the entire hour we were there.
We expressed our discontent with the service she failed to provide, and it was the Manager who stepped up and made sure all missing items were brought out, complimentary chips were provided to the kids who don’t eat sweats. We asked for bread and got nothing, until the Manager provided it.
I believe JNOEL needs to be retrained on how to provide world class service to ALL guests (who are paying her salary) working for such a...
Read moreUpon arrival security is very tight! So if you have luggage be prepared for suitcases to be opened infront of everyone in the entrance, if you are travelling with any water or snacks they will also take them until your ready to exit.
Entering the cafe there was a long queue but I had a reservation so I was told to go to the front and wait to the side, but people in the queue didn’t understand so they was making remarks on me pushing in the line but I actually had a reservation so that wasn’t great.
But once inside wow it’s so beautiful everything is laid out so nicely the staff make efforts to talk to you asking how you are etc. there was a gentleman who was exceptional didn’t get his name which was a shame but genuinely looked after me the entire time.
Lobster 🦞 pasta was 10/10 it had a coral bisque (fishy foam) which brought the dish together HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you only get 4 ravioli but it’s a worth it fresh clean favours
Complimentary bread which I thought I had to pay for 😂 but it was so yummy
Chicken soup was very delicious which was provided too
Hazelnut dessert was exceptional the crunchy base really adds the texture it needs it as it’s a soft dessert but that brings it all together. They also give you cute sample chocolates which I appreciated too.
It would of been 5 stars but I really didn’t expect security to be so tight upon entry and I really didn’t appreciate the filthy looks while being put to the front of the queue because I had a...
Read moreI ordered the chocolate and vanilla strawberry pastries, and both were truly exceptional.
The chocolate pastry was rich and decadent with a perfect balance of sweetness and cocoa intensity. The vanilla strawberry pastry was creamy and smooth and complementing the strawberry sauce perfectly. However, I found it to be a bit sour so I preferred the chocolate one.
After enjoying the pastries, the staff kindly offered a hazelnut-flavored chocolate which was an extra touch of delight to the visit.
Compared to other cafés in Europe, the prices at Café Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton are quite reasonable with each pastry costing around 16-18 euros.
It's important to make a reservation before visiting. On the day of my visit, my train experienced some issues from Normandie to Paris and it was delayed. I had to change my reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful, even reminding me of their closing time. I felt very lucky to have the chance to try these pastries.
This café provides a relaxing and elegant atmosphere and to make the experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend you to try Café Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton. No matter if it is Louis Vuitton fans. It gives an experience that is both luxurious...
