Food for brunch was really good. We enjoyed our avocado sandwich and the hummus bowl. All homemade and amazingly arranged. We were more or less satisfied with the service, although these 4 (little) minus points we experienced give some room for improvement: Staff communication: First waitress asked us to wait for a vacant table inside, her colleague asked us five minutes later, while we were still waiting "Are you waiting for something?" ("Yes, for the table your colleague promised us, lol") Waiting time till arrival of food: Was quite long. People who arrived around 10 min. after us, were already eating their food, while we still didn't have anything at all .. we were starving. So we asked them, if they'd forgot about us, they said they didn't. I think at least the two cappuccino and water they could have brought quickly in time and not almost half an hour after ordering. As staff you should ALWAYS (without the guest having to ask for it) serve the cappuccino together with some sugar (ideally white and brown one as choice) to the table. As staff you should ALWAYS ask the guest (without him having to ask for it by himself), if he wishes the receipt, instead of printing it out and directly throwing it in the jar) Besides of that it's and amazing place and the staff is actually very friendly...
Read moreI visited this place on a Monday afternoon when it wasn't very busy and it was like a breath of fresh air in otherwise often unfriendly and dismissive Parisian cafes. The staff was superkind, and did their best to explain the menu in English and it was also very simple for them to veganize one of their vegetarian meals for me. Prices are Parisian, so not cheap but also not very expensive. Food is good.
The interior of the place is also very nice, especially if you get a seat in front of the window looking on one of the most beautiful streets of Paris. I also really like the quirky toilet just outside the cafe, it gives a nice quirky touch to the place.
The location of the place is really good not just because of the gorgeous street it's on but also because it's great to stop at just before/after visiting the...
Read moreThis place is on a busy avenue, and we happened to go on a Sunday at around 10am. The place was, obviously, packed. They did not have a table inside –it looked cozy and inviting–, so we sat outside. The waiter was unfortunately overwhelmed, and she was barely keeping up with all the tables –this is the only thing I hoped had been better–, but she was very polite, friendly, and helpful. As for the food, I got the Brunch package, which included freshly squeezed orange juice, a cappuccino (hot drink of your choice), I got a Tartine D'avocat (avocado toast), and closed off with a Gaufre nocciolata (a waffle). Everything was extraordinary. We didn't go back just to try other places, but I will definitely visit again on...
