A aignificant drop in the quality of the food, and the immensely sad disappearance of the formerly amazing Sunday brunch press me, most regrettably, to downgrade my review, by 2 stars based on our visit last Sunday. The oignon tatin was excellent, but the croute de foie gras aux morilles decidedly dry (and tasteless); the steak tartare was overloaded with ketchup so that no other flavor could be savored, and the accompanying mushrooms were mostly tasteless champignons de paris with a few pleurottes, equally tasteless and unseasoned, and heavy on the oil. For dessert, the mille feuilles were so far from traditional and dressed with something resembling dulce de leche, that both my friend and I were disappointed. I am profoundly sorry to write such a harsh opinion, all the more despite the ever-friendly welcome of Matthias and his staff. I'll leave my original review below in hope that things revert... All the same, many thanks for the welcome and for the past delights. Merci mille fois du service et de l'accueil toujours exceptionnels par Mathias; ⭐🙏 I NEVER give 5* [perfectionist] but this restaurant is as close to a 5* as I've been. The Entrée (first course) of a soft poached egg with caramelized onions and FRESH girolles mushrooms was ... out of this world; the épaule d'agneau was great (if not as original); the dessert reverted to degree of délicatesse and flavor beyond any 'ordinary French restaurant'.. The waitress was patient and kind, offering me several tastes of vin rouge until I found one that matched my palate - which, upon her suggestion, was SPOT-ON for the lamb. IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC, modern French cuisine, SEEK NO FURTHER (and affordable!!!). A bientôt.

We found this restaurant online and went on Monday but found it to be closed. All we could think about the following day was how amazing the menu was. So on Tuesday we made our way back and was seated without a reservation. We got in just in time cause within 30 mins the place was full. How 2 servers kept everyone happy was incredible to watch and they did this with a smile on their face. Always happy to help and provide further drinks. The food was worth the wait. We all opted for the set 3 course menu and it didn't disappoint. Every course tasted incredible. The food cooked to perfection. We didn't feel rushed at all and we happily sat there for 2 hours talking and watching how the servers kept their cool. It was like a performance! Hats off to them!! Great selection of drinks to go with the food and the atmosphere was perfect, with couples dining, groups of friends and people dining alone. This restaurant was a highlight of Paris for me and will worth the wait. If you are in the area. PLEASE make sure you visit. You won't be disappointed. I'm still thinking of my steak 3 days later!

Came here for our last dinner in Paris before leaving the next morning. We wanted to return to Tonton Des Dames (which belonged to the same group and we had a great meal previously) was sadly closed due to renovation. . Medium Entrecôte was overcooked and hence dry and hard. In hindsight should have asked for a new piece. Thankfully, my wife enjoyed her Grilled seabass. Serving portions were generous and menu pricing fair. Service was shorthanded and stretched but they did their best to look after us well enough

First night in Paris and a huge disappointment. We were seated at a very small table near to other customers. English was a huge problem for the staff altough we heard other staff members speak quite well. They messed up my appetizer order and their "carpaccio" wasn't even close to a carpaccio. Carpaccio is thinly sliced, here meat chunks were so thick, it was hardly edible. The steak was dry and fries not crispy at all and the taste was mediocre. Other people who came after us got their meals before us and we felt really neglected. Tourists who dont speak french - we suggest to avoid this place, you will not feel welcomed.

Edit: based on the reaction of the restaurant, unable to acknowledge any of the mistakes they clearly did such as unclear communication, waiting time, wrong order, I am changing the review to one star. This is not a proper reaction to a disappointment of a...
