Had the most delicious, memorable sandwich I've had in a long time here. My friend and I decided to order just one lamb kebab sandwich to test it out (and to make room for other bites while we wandered around Le Marais). But we were STUNNED after the taking our first bites, and promptly ordered another one.
When's the last time you've eaten something so good it gave you an out of body experience?
The only way to describe it is a party in your mouth. Not just any party, but a total rager -- think Studio 54-in-its-heyday, a Susanne Bartsch art gala, or just the best damn house party you've ever been to, where the music, crowd, and vibe were just right.
The flavors are bright, clean, and harmonious, and the texture would be Goldilocks-approved. We savored our sandwiches and were in near tears after our near-transcendental experience, regretting only not having come here with more friends so that we could sample a bit of everything on the menu.
Everything is incredibly fresh and everything is made to order. The veggies serving as decorative props within the restaurant also serve a functional purpose, and are used in the cooking. And yes, when you order the cauliflower, you get the whole, meaty, perfectly charred head.
We went around 4-5pm, and there was a great energy with all the chefs prepping for the evening.
Do not hesitate to stop in! I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Paris. Thanks Google Maps for the...
Read moreHad high hopes for this place. But was let down. It’s pretty busy, but fairly quick. (That’s if they don’t forget to bring your food out) like they did me.
You order at the front and you can either get it to go or you can sit outside standing sitting or at the bar there’s also more seating in the back.
I ordered the falafel of week which was a chicken kebab. And then I also ordered the cauliflower.
The cauliflower had no flavor to it. I thought there would be some spices on it, but it was very mid to me. I only ate a few bites because it was just so so.
The falafel I got was good, but it was not what I was expecting. I wish I had ordered a different flavor. I just really wanted to be happy with my food and I wasn’t.
It was also very annoying. I felt like they forgot about me. First the girl at the counter forgot to give me my water, so I asked for it, and then she gave me like a dirty look when I asked. And then I noticed that The last 10 people in line behind me, got their food before me.
And I had asked the girl who was running the food out for my pita and she’s like it’s coming, so I waited like another 10 minutes and it still never came so I asked the girl at the counter again and then after a few minutes...
Read moreCame here for lunch with a group of friends. The place has a lively, casual vibe and is clearly popular—so popular, in fact, that getting a table can be a bit of a challenge. They don’t take reservations, which adds to the wait-time stress, and unfortunately, some guests don’t hesitate to skip the line and claim tables as soon as one opens up. Definitely a bit chaotic at peak hours, so patience (and maybe a little assertiveness) is key.
Once seated, the service was efficient—orders were taken quickly and the food started arriving dish by dish, which worked fine for our group.
The standout for me was the vegetarian selection: the roasted cauliflower, artichokes, and green beans were all incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned—simple ingredients but done right. The lamb kebab was also a hit, served tucked inside warm bread with a nice balance of spice and tenderness.
I also tried one of their Israeli beers, which surprisingly reminded me of Anker, a beer from Indonesia—light, crisp, and nostalgic in a way I didn’t expect.
Overall, a fun spot for casual dining with bold flavors. I'd definitely come back, especially for the...
